Custom Engraved Pattern 21-2 Style Winchester
Model 21 Duck Grade Double Barrel Shotgun
Two Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. 25431, 12 gauge, 32 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, fancy checkered walnut
stock. Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels with a single steel bead sight on the matted concave solid rib, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and chambers marked “FULL”/”FULL”. The blued action displays Winchester 21-2
pattern style engraving with light scrollwork and a mallard on the underside as well as “DUCK”. The gun features a single
selective trigger and tang mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid “SAFE”. Highly fugued, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and pistol
grip stock with Winchester red rubber recoil pad. Includes a second matching numbered 28 inch barrel set featuring “IMP CYL”/”MOD” marked chokes and 3 inch chambers with automatic
ejectors. Also includes a leather bound takedown case, two snap caps, oiler, cleaning tools, Winchester literature, and a factory data sheet which lists the gun as a standard Duck Grade and
confirms the barrel length, safety, single trigger, stock, and recoil pad when it was originally completed March 28, 1950 as well as the addition of the second barrel set on August 31, 1951. Barrel measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .735/.734 inches; choke constriction .012/.016 inches; minimum wall thickness .032/.026 inches. Barrel and stock measurements
(R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .737/.738 inches; choke constriction .037/.038 inches; minimum wall thickness .029/.029 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at heel; 13 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 13 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as custom embellished to current configuration, retaining 98% refurbished blue finish with minor handling evidence, scattered minor spotting, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The extra barrel set is very fine with some tiny spotting at the muzzle and the case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.

Scarce 28 Gauge - Serial no.
747593, 28 gauge, 26 inch solid rib
bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1936. Steel mid and red front bead sights on the matted solid rib, standard Winchester markings and “WP” proof to the left of the rib, 2 7/8 inch chamber, and choke marked “SKEET”. The blued receiver shows the standard Winchester “WP” proof and matching serial numbers with the receiver extension. Straight grain, multi-point checkered forend and straight grip stock with Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish with minor handling evidence, a few areas of finish wear, moderate slide retraction wear, and sharp checkering on the reoiled wood. The top of the receiver has
had the top bead blasted and matte blued to reduce glare with most of the bright blue remaining on the balance.
