The coin finished sideplated boxlock action displays beautiful relief cut floral scroll engraving over a blackened background creating an eye popping contrast. The engraving continues to the toplever, both tangs, and the triggerguard which bears a gold inlaid
Safari Club International “lion and shield” logo. The triggerplate is signed to the right of the trigger “D.MASSENZA”
for Beretta Master Engraver Domnico Massenza. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety/selector switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with matching engraved fittings, including the Anson button release, and straight grip stock with checkered walnut buttplate. Includes a leather cornered takedown case containing two snapcaps. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 18.5 mm (.728 inches) and measured at .729/.730 inches;
choke constriction .023/.037 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.031 inches; 1 5/16 inch drop at comb; 1 15/16 inch drop at heel; 14 5/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 9 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, some very scattered minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is
