CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 80% bright original polish blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. 75% original nitre blue remains on the loading gate. Patterns of original case colors remain on the buttplate. The hammer and lever retain 85% original case colors. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor scratches. Mechanically excellent. A first model Winchester Model 1873 Carbine that will be hard to improve upon. A must have for the serious Winchester collector as this First Model 1873 SRC will be a stand out piece even in the most advanced collections.
