Exceptional Colt Etched Panel New Line .41 Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 4508, 41 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
in 1876, the barrel is marked with the standard two-line address on top, “COLT NEW 41” in an etched panel on the left, and the patent date on the bottom. The matching serial number is on the left of the grip frame, bottom of the barrel, and partial (“508”) on the rear face of the cylinder. The left of the frame is marked “41CAL C”. It has standard features and is fitted with a pair of smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 90% plus of the original nickel finish and 75% of the original nitre blue on the hammer with the balance having flaked to expose a mostly smooth grey patina, a few small patches of which are showing some light pitting, and a crisp etched panel. There is a minor ding in the front sight. The grips are excellent with some scattered very light handling marks and retaining almost all of the varnish. Mechanically excellent.

Colt Etched Panel New Line .38 Spur Trigger Revolver with Rare
4 Inch Barrel - Serial no. 8878, 38 CF cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1878 as a Second Model with standard features as well as the desirable 4 inch, etched panel barrel and a loading gate. The standard two-line address is on top of the barrel, patent date on the bottom under the cylinder pin, and “38CAL C” is on the left of the frame. There are small British proofs on the barrel and cylinder. Matching serial numbers are on the left of the grip frame and bottom of the barrel, and partial matching serial number “878” on the rear face of the cylinder. It is fitted with smooth walnut grips. Includes a plain modern box labeled to match the gun and an informational plaque. CONDITION: Fine, retains 60% of the original blue finish and 70% of the original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and the etched panel still mostly well-defined. The grips are also fine with some scattered minor flaking of the varnish and minor dings. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent Colt Etched Panel New Line .30 Spur
Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 5308, 30 RF cal., 2 1/4 inch round
bbl., nickel finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1875, the standard
two-line Colt address on top of the barrel flanked by Maltese crosses and the desirable etched panel on the left marked “COLT NEW 30”. The caliber marking is on the upper right rear of the frame. The serial number is marked on the butt, bottom of the barrel, and rear face of the cylinder. It
is fitted with smooth walnut grips. Includes a plain modern box labeled to match the gun.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original nickel finish and 90% of the original nitre blue on the hammer with some scattered light handling marks. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and retaining almost all of the varnish. Mechanically excellent.
