World War II German Luftwaffe Aviator Sword and a Luftwaffe Aviator Dagger - 1) Paul Weyersberg aviator’s sword, , 37 1/4 inches overall, 30 1/4 inch blade with small “eagle” proof, bright fittings, blue leather grip and scabbard, and an integral leather hanger. 2) Hoerster aviator’s dagger, 17 5/8 inches overall, 12 inch blade, outfitted as #1 with an integral chain hanger. CONDITION: 1) Excellent overall, with mild wear and a few scuffs and indentations visible on the leather. 2) Fine, with mild wear and spotting overall, plus some scuffing and cuts on the leather. Very Scarce German World War II Inscribed Weyersberg Air
Protection League (Reich Luftschutz Bund) NLB Officers
Dagger with Sheath and Hanger - Established in 1932, the RLB
was responsible for German air defense. While the membership
was technically massive, most of its members were part-time
volunteers, with only a small cadre of full-time officers qualifying
to wear the officers dagger, and authorization for the enlisted dagger
being a reward for special action and service. 14 1/4 inches overall, with a 9 5/8 inch spearpoint blade, blackened silver furniture, 3 7/8 inch wide crossguard, leather wrapped grip with a swastika-on-sunburst badge on one side, and a leather covered sheath with silver and green belt hanger. Inscribed “Hauptlufschutz Fuhrer Schoeller Koblenz” on scabbard.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, with some minor spotting and rubbing on the very fine blade, bright edge wear on the silver components, and a few small scuffs on the leather.

CONDITION: Very fine overall, with some light rubbing and spotting on the otherwise excellent blade, flaking of the nickel and enamel, and a few dings and scuffs on the grip. World War II German Labor Service Enlisted Hewer and a Glider Pilot Dagger - 1) Boker Reich Labor Service enlisted hewer, 14 3/4 inches overall with a 9 1/2 inch clip-point blade, darkened furniture, stag grips and a black enamel finished scabbard. Included with the lot is a glass topped hardwood case, leather belt hanger, a pair of RAD “tinnie” pins, RAD lapel stick pin, and a RAD buckle. 2) SMF glider pilot dagger, 12 inches overall with a 6 7/8 inch spearpoint blade, blackened fittings, blue leather grip and sheath, and a brown leather hanger. CONDITION: 1) Fine overall, with mild spotting and polishing marks on the blade, light handling marks overall. Scabbard attractively aged patina overall. 2) Very good overall, with spotting and scuffing on the blade, cracks and cuts on the hanger, mild scuffs on the grip and scabbard, and mild handling marks overall.
