between Agency Arms and Nighthawk Custom as the
ultimate modern evolution of the 1911 platform. Featuring
fiber optic front and blacked out Heinie rear sights, lightening
cut windowed slide with front serrations and rear serrations
which extend up onto the upper left and right flats, extended safety and slide release, serrated front strap and mainspring housing, and integral flared magazine well. Includes a Nighthawk Custom soft case, an extra magazine, and original test target.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original black finish with limited handling marks and crisp grip texturing.

pistol features GI style appointments with a hand polished
blue finish. The frame features the early “PENN UNITED TECHNOLOGIES” manufacturer marking with the standard “CABOT GUNS/MADE IN USA” on the slide.

LEFTY0001, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., grey finish,
maple grips. Manufactured as an updated and precision
machined version of the classic 1911 pistol, the South
Paw is the left handed version of one of Cabot Gun Co.’s
earliest models, the CGI Classic. Offered here is the first
South Paw pistol manufactured by Cabot Guns, serial
no. 1. This pistol was designed from the ground up for left handed shooters featuring full left handed controls as well as having the model marking on the left side and “CABOT GUNS/MADE IN THE USA” on the right of the slide. The frame features the early “PENN UNITED TECHNOLOGIES” manufacturer marking on the left side of the slide to give it a fully mirrored look. Includes a hand numbered box, certificate of authenticity, and replacement mainspring cover. The certificate of authenticity signed by Cabot Guns president
Robert Bianchin confirms the pistol was “constructed during the first year of operation of the company” and “this particular pistol represents serial no. 1 of the South Paw pistol model”.
