Rare Pre-Ban Louisiana Prison System Owned
Colt AR-15 SP1 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Factory
Letter - Serial no. SP61889,
223 Rem cal., 20 inch round
bbl., black anodized finish, synthetic stock. The
included factory letter lists this rifle as having a 20 inch barrel
chambered in .223 Remington with black anodized receiver, black
oxide finished barrel, black composition nylon furniture, and furnished with and adjustable rear
sight when shipped to Sloan’s Sporting company in Ridgefield, Connecticut on June 30th, 1976. Also included is a State of Louisiana letter stating the rifle was used from 1976 until December of 2017 at Angola State Penitentiary. Inside the butt door is a plate marked “STATE OF LOUISIANA/676-12498” as well as having “676-12498” marked on the left side of the magazine well above the model markings. Includes nylon sling.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 90% original black finish with scattered scratches and scuffs from penitentiary use.
Mechanically excellent. It’s not often one gets the chance at a penitentiary owned SP-1 such as this!

Desirable Valmet M76 Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 165563, 223 Rem cal., 16 inch bbl., phosphate finish, walnut stock. Manufactured from 1976 to 1986. Hooded post front sight with a flip up night sight and adjustable peep rear sight. Standard maker’s marks on the left side of the receiver, “FABRIQUE EN FINLANDE” on the right, checkered forearm and grip, and a fixed walnut buttstock
with serrated Valmet buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% plus original phosphate finish with scattered dings and scratches. Stock is very fine with scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

LOT 3750 Pre-Ban Ruger Mini-14 Semi-Automatic Folding Stock Rifle with Box - Serial no. 185- 56788, 223 cal., 18 inch round bbl., blue finish, metal/hardwood stock. Blade and peep sights, with a hardwood buttstock fitted with checkered plastic pistol grip and a folding steel stock. Includes an unnumbered Ruger box. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with some cycling and high edge wear. The wood is fine with a number of minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. LOT 3751 Argentine F.M.A.P. FSL Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 1842, 308 Win cal., 22 inch heavy round bbl., phosphate finish, hardwood stock. Manufactured on a combination of Argentine and Israeli parts. The upper receiver is marked “F.M.A.P. “DM” ROSARIO/INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA” on the right and “F.S.L. cal. 7,62x51 mm (L.S.R. 308 WIN)” on the left. Fitted with a long flash hider, bipod metal ventilated heat shield with wooden Israeli style “barrel” handguard, wooden grip and fixed buttstock with flip up shoulder rest. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus professionally refinished phosphate finish with light handling marks. The forearm and grip are excellent with scattered light handling marks. Buttstock is very good with some hairline cracks at the receiver and otherwise light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
LOT 3752 Scarce Finnish Valmet M82 Bullpup Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 161964, 5.56x45 mm cal., 16 inch round bbl., phosphate finish, synthetic stock. Introduced in Finland in 1978 and discontinued in 1986 after only roughly 2,000 being manufactured. They were initially intended to replace the folding weapons that were being carried by Finnish paratroopers. However, after minimal numbers being issued to troops, an issue with the rear sight hitting paratroopers in the face upon landing led to the carbine being discontinued after a short production run for U.S. import. Standard markings and features with no visible import marks. Includes a green leather sling. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original phosphate finish with limited handling marks. Stock is very fine with a few scattered scuffs and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
LOT 3753 I.M.I/Action Arms Uzi Model B Semi-Automatic Carbine - Serial no. SA45323, 9 mm parabellum cal., 16 inch round bbl., matte black finish, metal stock. Post front and two-leaf peep rear sights, with standard markings, a tan canvas sling, and an Uzi-branded soft case. CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% of the original matte black finish, showing mild handling marks and edge wear overall. The forearm and grip panels are very good, with mild scuffs and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
