            CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish, 95% of the original nitre blue on the loading gate, and 95% plus of the vibrant original case colors with some faint thinning on the lower barrel band and bottom of the lever, and some light muzzle wear. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and a few faint scuffs in the finish on the right of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. An outstanding Model 1894 carbine in its own right, this example is fitted with a rare full set of Marble’s sights that you are unlikely to encounter again!

Framed 1900 Winchester “Waiting For A Shot At The Old Ram” and “Quail Shooting”
Calendar by A.B. Frost - Winchester 1900 calendar with double game scenes. The top scene
is “Waiting For A Shot At The Old Ram” depicting two hunters lying in the snow with their Winchester rifles waiting for the perfect shot
on a distant group of rams. The lower scene is “Quail Shooting” showing a hunter in full hunting clothes as his two setters point out a distant flock of quail. Both scenes are by A. B. Frost and are signed in their respective lower left corners. At the center of the calendar is
a board of all the months displayed at one time with ads for Winchester rifles, shotguns, and ammunition on either side. Mounted in a wooden frame. Frame measures 24 inches x 36 inches.
CONDITION: Very good with storage and handling marks, lateral creases and wrinkles, remnants from December calendar, and a couple minor tears. Colors remain vibrant.
