Dated Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Matching Magazine
and Holster - Serial no. 8513k,
9 mm cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. Fixed sights,
with “1936” on the chamber, “S/42”
on the front toggle link, “eagle/63”
and “eagle” proofs on the appropriate
parts, and matching numbers on many
components, including on the alloy
magazine base; grips are unnumbered.
Small parts are straw finished, with niter
blue pins and springs, and checkered
walnut grips. With a black leather flap
holster and takedown tool; the holster lacks
visible maker’s marks, but has a Luftwaffe style “eagle/2” inside the body and a matching serial number on the body under the flap.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, minor spotting concentrated on the gripstraps, and light handling marks overall. 75% of the original straw color is present on the small parts, with vivid niter blue on the sear spring and toggle pins. The grips are also excellent, with some minor dings, and the holster is fine with mild scuffing and scratching. The magazine hangs up a bit on the catch, otherwise mechanically excellent.

Swiss Bern Model 1929 Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 76241, 7.65
mm cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic
grips. Fixed sights, with the serial number and
conjoined “BP” stamp on the chamber and “Swiss
Cross in shield” on the toggle link. Matching numbers
on the frame, barrel, receiver and rear toggle. Bern “FW+” markings on
several parts, “GELADEN” marked extractor and “S” upper safety position.
The Simpson Limited import mark is present on the rear of the frame, immediately below the rear toggle. Checkered black plastic grips and nickel finished magazine with matching colored plastic base.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus original matte blue finish, showing some minor handling marks, a few areas of plum patina, and mild edge wear. The grips are also excellent,
with some dings on
the otherwise
crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Contract P.08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol
- Serial no. 10777, 9 mm cal., 4 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured on contract
for the Luftwaffe, these Krieghoff Lugers show
commercial-grade quality of the fit and finish on the
various parts. Fixed sights, with the chamber area dated
“1940”, and the C-2 style Krieghoff toggle marking. A set of military “eagle”
and “eagle/2” proofs are present, along with “eagle/N” proofs on the barrel
and right frame rail. Matching numbers present on the barrel, extension, frame,
sideplate, trigger, safety, toggle pin, toggle links, breechblock and firing pin. Fitted
with straw finished small parts, niter blue pins and springs, checkered grips with
smooth borders, and a blue finished magazine with unmarked alloy base.
CONDITION: Fine, with 60% original blue on the frame, with bright edge wear, areas
of brown patina, and mild handling marks overall. The barrel and extension show some “cold blue” over patches of pitting concentrated on the left side, and the lower edge of the sideplate has been polished and touched up. Traces of straw color are present on the small parts, with strong niter blue remaining
on the magazine catch and sear spring.
Grips are sharply checkered, with a few
light dings. Mechanically excellent.

DWM Model 1906
Commercial Luger
Semi-Automatic
Pistol in Scarce 9 mm Caliber - Serial no. 44261, 9
mm Luger cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, checkered
walnut grips. This is an excellent mid-production example
of an early DWM Model 1906 Commercial Luger. There were
only approximately 4,000 model 1906 Commercial Lugers
manufactured for commercial sales with this rare example being
chambered in 9mm Luger (parabellum) caliber, with the majority
of these Model 1906 commercials being chambered for 7.65mm Luger. 9 mm Luger
was usually reserved only for military contracts. Since this is an early 1906 Commercial
model it correctly has the unmarked/blank chamber area with the “DWM” logo on the front
toggle, and is correctly numbered in the commercial manner with the full serial number
stamped on the front of the frame and underside of the barrel, and the last two digits of
the serial number stamped on various small parts. It has the standard Commercial “Crown/N”
proofmark on the left of the barrel extension, underside of the barrel, breech block and front
toggle. First pattern safety with the lower area of the rear frame polished and unmarked, extractor marked “GELADEN”, and fully checkered walnut grips. These early commercial Lugers have all hand-
fitted parts with a beautiful rust blued finish overall with finely polished and straw colored small parts
to include the trigger, take down lever, ejector and magazine release button. “GERMANY” stamped on the front of the frame and wood base of the early tin-plated commercial magazine.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 95% original blue finish with some smooth brown patina visible on top of the chamber area and a few small patches of minor pitting on the sideplate, and sharp markings and edges in the metal overall. 75% original straw color remains on the small components with some light pitting on the safety lever. The grips are excellent with a few light handling marks in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. This example of a DWM Model 1906 Commercial Luger in 9mm,
a much sought after Luger variation,
would make a fine addition to any
Luger collection!
