Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. Further, the registration paperwork directly associates the sear to the B item in this lot, where it must remain.

Fleming/Heckler & Koch MP5A3 Submachine Gun, Class III/NFA
Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 7956, 9 cal., 9 1/2 inch round bbl., black
finish, metal stock. Originally manufactured in 1985 in Germany and imported by HK of Chantilly as a HK94 carbine, then converted to a MP5 style submachine gun by
Fleming Firearms, which involved shortening the overall length and installing a shelf- compatible three position trigger pack. Hooded post front and four position drum
rear sights, with the top of the receiver marked “MP5 HK”, “7956” and “IF(antler)”
and the left side under the trigger housing bearing the Fleming markings. The shortened muzzle has been fitted with a three lug accessory mounting arrangement, in emulation
of the factory original MP5, with a forearm rigged for a Maglite-style tactical light and integral momentary switch, trigger housing with textured pistol grip and optional
German “S/E/F” Navy pattern selector markings, and a two-position telescoping
buttstock. The bolt carrier is “IG” (1986) dated, and is properly equipped to interface with the auto sear. One H&K factory 30-round curved magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent as upgraded to
full auto, with 97% plus matte black finish,
showing mild wear and handling marks overall. The barrel
and the scope base contact points have been touched up with black paint, and red paint highlights have been
applied to the markings and sights. The furniture is in very good condition. The flashlight has electrical tape
wrapped around the lens assembly, but passes a basic function check. Mechanically excellent. NOTE:

Fleming Firearms Sear Equipped Colt AR-15A2, Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun -A) Fleming M16 Auto Sear - Serial no. M106, 223 , matte gray
finish. Manufactured by Fleming and individually
marked, this auto-sear has been used to upgrade the Colt AR-15A2 rifle in this lot for selective fire operation. See B for more details.
B) Colt AR-15A2, Sear Host Gun - Serial no. SP339253, 22 cal., 20 inch round bbl., matte black finish, synthetic stock. Originally manufactured as a semi-automatic rifle, this Colt AR-15A2 was modified to serve as the host for the auto sear listed in A. Adjustable post front and two-leaf rear sights, with an A2 flash hider and bayonet lug on the “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7” marked barrel, ribbed round handguard,
checkered pistol grip and two-position telescoping buttstock. The upper receiver is equipped with a
casing deflector and a round forward assist. The lower receiver has the Fleming address on the front, “AUTO” added to the third selector position, and has been drilled for the support pin for the sear. The internals have been properly configured for semi-automatic and full-automatic operation, with a “C” marked full auto bolt
