Perazzi SCO Grade Over/Under Shotgun - Serial no. 57529, 12 gauge, 29 9/16 inch
vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued Special steel barrels with a single
orange sight on the matted vent rib, standard Perazzi markings, import mark under
forend, light engraving around the breech, 1981 dated Italian proofs, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic
ejectors. The coin finished action displays fantastic extensive tight floral scroll engraving with relief cut bouquets on either
fence over matted backgrounds. The engraving extends to the toplever, both tangs, and the triggerguard and surrounds “SCO” on the underside as well as the Perazzi crest with a crown over a rampant lion over “MAP”. The triggerplate is singed “Inc. Alberto Sasolini” to the right of the trigger by the Italian Master Engraver. The gun features a single gold washed trigger and a tang mounted manual safety
switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with blued matching engraved fittings, including the Deeley latch release, and pistol grip stock with right hand palm swell and factory rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 18.4mm (.724 inches) and measured .725/.726 inches; choke constriction
.025/.040 inches; minimum wall thickness .038/.036 inches; 1 3/15 inch drop at comb; 1 5/8 inch drop at heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; cast-off; weight 8 lbs. 5 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minimal handling evidence and a slight rub at the left of the forend shoe. The wood is very fine with a few dings and
scratches and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

extensive beautifully cut broad floral scroll engraving over a nicely matted background extending to the toplever, both tangs, and the triggerguard. The triggerplate is signed “G. TURRINI” to the right of the trigger for Italian Master Engraver Giancarlo Turrini. The gun features gas checked firing pins, a single trigger, and a manual tang mounted safety switch.
