Excellent and Very Scarce German SA Gruppe Alpenland Marked J. P. Sauer
Model 38H Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster - Serial no. 265382, 7.65 mm auto cal.,
3 3/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. “SA der NSDAP, Gruppe Alpenland.” marked
on the upper left of the slide. S.A. Gruppe Alpenland markings are seldom encountered. The SA (Storm Detachment) Group Alpenland was responsible for the Austrian districts Upper Danube, Salzburg, Voralberg, and Tyrol, which would be home to the Alpenfestung (Alpine Fortress), AKA “The National Redoubt”. The pistol has commercial blue finish, blade front and notch rear sights, standard markings “J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL” and “CAL.7,65” on the
left of the matching numbered slide
and “PATENT” on the right, “crown/N”
proof on the right of the frame, slide
and muzzle, and a “SuS” monogram
on the left grip panel. Includes a
black leather “fkx4” marked holster.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 99% original blue finish. Applied yellow paint on the front sight face and red paint on the rear sight face and safety indicator. Grips are also excellent with minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. Included holster is very fine.

Excellent Commercial Walther Model PP Semi-Automatic Pistol with Grip Extension, Box and Accessories - Serial no. 166281P, 7.65 mm auto cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured during World War II for the commercial market. Fixed sights with the left side of the slide marked with the Walther banner, two-line address/patent/caliber markings and “Mod PP”, and “eagle/N” proofs on the muzzle, chamber hood and slide. A proper matching number
is hand-scribed inside the slide, which has no provision for a loaded chamber indicator; originally a special feature, the indicator was very popular, and most commercial PP and PPK pistols are factory equipped with one. With a ring hammer, 60 degree safety, checkered grips and an extended “target grip” base for the magazine. The “wood grain” box is unnumbered, containing a barrel rod, manual, extra magazine (flat base), and Walther-branded cleaning cloth and cleaning equipment tin.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the gripstraps, high edge wear, and minor handling marks. The grips are also excellent, with a few light scuffs, and the extension is very good, with an internal crack and minor scuffs. The box is fair, with torn corners, tape repairs and mild scuffs. Mechanically excellent.

Desirable and Excellent World War II German Kriegsmarine Marked
Mauser Model 1934 Semi- Automatic Pistol with Matching Magazine and Kriegsmarine Proofed Holster
Serial no. 524026, 7.65 mm auto cal., 3 3/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured from 1936-1941, this
s one of approximately 23,000 Mauser Model 1934 pistols procured by the German Kriegsmarine. The one-line Oberndorf address on the left side of the slide, “Cal. 7,65-D.R.P.u.A.P.” on
he right, the Mauser banner on the left side plate, “eagle and swastika/M” marking on the right of the frame, and “O.3023” marked on the front strap and repeated on the bottom of
he magazine. These markings are typical for a sidearm in he Kriegsmarine inventory, specifically one processed and ssued through a depot on the North Sea (or “Nordsee” in
German). It is fitted with a checkered walnut wraparound grip.
These pistols are discussed, with similar examples pictured,
on p. 165-172 of “Axis Pistols” by Jan C. Still. Includes a brown leather holster with “G.F.MORDHORST/HOFLIEFERANT/KIEL” maker marking and Kriegsmarine drooped wing “eagle/M” marking on the front, and an extra commercial magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus original blue finish with some light edge wear mostly concentrated at the front edges of the slide. Grips are also excellent with a few small areas of light crazing, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Included holster is very fine.

Excellent World War II Walther PPK “Eagle/C” Police Inspected Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster - Serial
no. 333503K, 7.65 mm auto cal., 3 1/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured after 1938 and inspected
for police use. Blade front and notch rear sights, with standard slide markings, “eagle/N” proofs on the muzzle, slide and chamber, “eagle/swastika C” on the left side of the frame, and a proper matching hand-scribed number inside the slide. Fitted with a 60 degree safety, ring hammer, checkered Walther banner grips, and a brown plastic grip extension. Includes an HSC replacement black leather holster, marked with a faint Waffenamt stamp on the closure strap and “jhg/44” (Genschow/ Geco) on the inner flap.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing some light edge wear and handling marks. The grips are fine, with some light scaling and cracking. The holster is very good, with minor cracks and scuffs on the supple leather. Mechanically excellent.

RZM Marked German Walther PPK Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 843026, 7.65 mm auto cal., 3 1/4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. The Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) served as the
quartermasters office of the National Socialists and later became the chief
authority on textiles in the Third Reich. Fixed sights and standard markings,
with “crown/N” proofs on the barrel and slide, and the addition of the etched
circular “RZM” logo on the left side of the slide between the model marking and the serrations. Serrated ring hammer, 90 degree safety and checkered brown plastic “WALTHER” banner grips with matching colored grip extension.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 90% plus original blue finish with some light edge wear, most noticeable on the leading edges of the slide. Traces of original niter blue finish remain on the safety lever as turned to a smooth gray. Grips are very fine with a few light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
