About this Auction
Ladies and gentlemen it is my pleasure to welcome you to our sensational May 2023 premier firearms auction. As you will quickly see, this auction picks right back up where we finished our 2022 campaign, in remarkable fashion. And while much has stayed the same we are excited to usher in some changes coming in 2023, big and small. I welcomed a massive change into our lives last night by the way of an 8lb 9oz beautiful baby girl, Louise Mae Hogan. Momma and baby are doing spectacular. My father-in-law has been cautioning me for months, “The boss is coming”. He couldn’t have been more right, the boss is here and thankfully for her, she takes after her mother.
We are now rolling along at full steam on our New Bedford, Texas location. We were granted our building permit a few months ago and have not wasted anytime. It is our sincere desire to hold our December Premier auction in Bedford and we believe we are on track to do so. We will continue to send more updates and photos as the project progresses. It is going to be a very special place.
As for the catalog, this auction, our team, our consignors, well, more of the same. It’s a stunning offering, executed marvelously by the best team on the planet, from some of the most lauded collections in the world. The catalog itself is 100 pages larger than anything we have ever done.
I have a very full heart right now and I am continually humbled by the work
of the RIAC family. I want to say THANK YOU to all our clients for your continued support of our firm. We hope you enjoy the auction, there hasn’t been another offering like it. If you can’t find the “next one” in here, you can’t find it anywhere. Looking forward to seeing everyone in May.
