Two Cased Colt First Generation Single Action Army Revolvers -A) Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 329863, 32 WCF cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1915, with the standard one-line address on top of the barrel and the caliber marking on the left. The standard two-line patent date marking and Rampant Colt are on the left of the frame. The bottom of the frame, trigger guard, and back strap all have the matching serial number, and the matching partial serial number, “9863”, is hand marked inside each grip. It has standard features. Includes a hardwood presentation case fitted for both revolvers, an assortment of .32 W.C.F. cartridges, a package of 25 grooved bullets, screwdriver/wrench, key, cleaning brush, and oiler.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 60% plus of the original blue and 70% casehardened finishes with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and some scattered very light spotting.
The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks and otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The custom case is very fine with some scattered light handling/storage marks. B) Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 352373, 32 WCF cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1928, with the standard one-line address on top of the barrel and the caliber marking on the left. The matching serial number is on the bottom of the frame, the left of the grip straps, and hand marked inside each grip. The rear face of the matching cylinder is stamped with the last two digits of the serial number, “73”. The two-line patent date marking and Rampant Colt are on the left side of the frame, and “3/VP” is on the left of the trigger guard. It has standard features.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original blue finish and case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered light blemishes in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Colt First Generation Single Action
Army Revolver with Original Box - Serial
no. 356506, 45 LC cal., 5 1/2 inch round
bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber
grips. Manufactured in 1938. The barrel
is stamped with the one-line Hartford
address on top and “COLT SINGLE ACTION
ARMY .45” on the left side. The left side
of the frame has the two-line patent dates
marking followed by a Rampant Colt. The left side of the trigger guard has a Colt
factory triangle proof and “Y”. Matching serial number on the frame and right side of
the trigger guard and back strap under the grip. The cylinder has the matching partial serial number “06” on the rear face. The assembly number “229” is on the loading gate. Includes the original Colt factory box.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original blue finish and case colors with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, most noticeably on the muzzle and grip straps, and a light cylinder drag line. The replacement grips are fine with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair, with extensive storage wear, some tearing, and a filament tape repair on the corner of the lid. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500
CONDITION: Very fine with 95% plus original blue, 80% plus original casehardened finish, some minor muzzle wear and cylinder drag lines, patches of minor oxidation staining mainly on the frame, and generally minor overall wear. The non-factory replacement stag
grips are also very fine and have minor handling and storage marks and attractive texture patterns and coloration. Mechanically function fine,
but the hammer is missing the first safety notch. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750

First Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver with
Stag Grips - Serial no. 354649, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch
round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, stag grips. Manufactured
in 1932. The front sight blade has been period non-factory modified
with a red dot insert. The barrel has the one-line address on top and “COLT
SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45” on the left. The frame has the two-line patent
dates marking and the Rampant Colt trademark on the left side. The left
side of the trigger guard at the front has “3” and the triangular “VP” proof. The
loading gate and the rear of the frame on the right have the assembly number “459.” The frame and right side of the grip straps have the matching serial number, and the matching partial serial number
“49” is on the rear of the frame. The attractive replacement stag grips are unmarked.
