CONDITION: Excellent with 90% plus of the original World War II combination phosphate and blue/black finish, with minor light thinning and wear on the sides of the receiver, edges and high spots overall. The stock is very fine with a few areas of light separation behind the receiver, some light crazing and some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent, retains 95% correct wartime blue finish with clear original markings. The scope functions correctly; however, the optics are somewhat cloudy and spotted, but viewable. The mount also retains 98% of its original phosphate finish overall. A truly rare and likely one of a kind Mauser StG 44 sniper rifle that would make for a prized addition to any advanced military firearms collection.
