LOT 1574 Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Browning 20 Gauge Citori Grade VI Over/Under Shotgun - Serial no. 25256NMF33, 20 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1990. Single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, Invector choke system (improved cylinder/modified installed), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The blued action displays floral scroll engraving surrounding four gold inlaid game scenes which include a pair of pheasants in flight on the left, a trio of mallards on the right, a setter on the underside, and a quail on the trigger guard. Gold single trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech ..622/.622 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.032 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 15 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 2 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and gold finishes with limited handling evidence. The wood is very fine with a few minor dings and scratches and sharp checkering. Manufactured in 2015. Blued steel barrels with ramped fiber optic front and notch rear sight on the raised quarter rib which is mounted with a Delta Optical Titanium 1-4x scope and import marked under the forearm. The coin action displays floral scroll surrounding game scenes of a red stag on the left, roe buck on the right, and boar on the bottom with a single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety. Mounted in a lightly figured, skipline checkered walnut Schnabel forend and pistol grip stock with BMR ventilated recoil pad. Includes Browning case and extra barrel regulating rings. Stock measurements: 13 7/8 inch length of pull; weight 9 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with some minor handling marks mostly on the wood and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Blued steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the raised matted vent rib, chambers marked 2 3/4 inches with ejectors, and Invector Plus chokes (cylinder/cylinder installed). The coin finished action displays standard engraving with scroll surrounding pigeons transforming into clay pigeons inlaid in gold on the sides and two clay pigeons on the underside. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock 34 inch single barrel with an improved modified choke installed. Also included are two factory boxes with matching labels and a Browning takedown case. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 15 oz. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered curly maple forend and pistol grip stock with right hand palm swell, Monte Carlo comb, and Browning ventilated recoil pad.
