Exceptional Documented Special Order Winchester Model 1894 Lightweight Lever Action Takedown Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial
no. 91800, 30 WCF cal., 26 inch lightweight half octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1900, this Model 1894 rifle is in a special order lightweight configuration. The top of
   the half octagon barrel flat is marked with the standard two-line address, caliber marking at the breech, and the two-line nickel steel marking on the upper left. The upper tang has the standard three-line model,
trademark, and patent information, and the serial number is on the bottom of
the receiver. The left side of the lower tang is unmarked. The lightweight half octagon barrel is fitted with a ramped German silver blade front sight and an elevation adjustable notch rear sight. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with non-factory sling swivel eyes and a checkered, hard rubber shotgun buttplate. The included
factory letter lists the rifle in .30 caliber with a half octagon barrel, half magazine, extra light, takedown, and a rubber shotgun buttplate when received at the warehouse on 24 September 1900 and shipped the next day in order number 71745.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish and 90% plus of the vibrant original case colors and 70% nitre blue on the loading gate with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, most noticeably on edges. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches throughout. Mechanically excellent.

Outstanding Winchester Model 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 401989, 30 ARMY (30-40) cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This exceptional Winchester M1895 Carbine was manufactured in 1920. The carbine features a 22-inch round barrel, military style folding leaf rear sight, saddle ring on the left side of the receiver and military style stock with grasping grooves and steel butt plate. The hand guard is a military pattern and the butt plate has a compartment for a bore brush and thong. The M1895 was the first non-detachable box magazine rifle manufactured by Winchester and the first lever-action rifle chambered for high power smokeless-
powder cartridges. The carbine has a high-polish blue finish with oil-finished walnut stock and forend. The top of the receiver is marked
with the Winchester “W/P” oval proof mark above “.30/ARMY” in two lines. The serial number is located on the bottom receiver tang. The left side of the
receiver is marked: “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN, U.S.A./PATENTED NOV. 5.95.NOV.12.95.AUG.17.97. JAN.25.98.AUG.23.98.AUG.6.1907.” in two lines.
CONDITION: Excellent plus. The carbine retains 98% plus of the original blue finish. Wear is limited to some very minor finish loss of the forward edge of the magazine bottom,
some thinning on the bottom of the lever and, some very faint wear on the toe of the butt plate. There is some minor finish wear on the right front section of the lever. The stock and
forearm are also in excellent plus condition with minor storage marks. Virtually all of the original oil finish is intact. Mechanically excellent. This is a nearly new example of a Winchester Model 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine, that would be hard to improve upon. Estimate: 5,500 - 8,000
I-pattern checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered hard rubber shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 90% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth brown patina, primarily on the takedown collar and upper tang. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered minor dings and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 7,000

Exceptional Winchester Semi-Deluxe Model 1886 Lightweight Takedown Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 150871, 33 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1911, this Model 1886 rifle is in a seldom encountered semi-deluxe
and two-thirds magazine configuration. The left side of the barrel is marked with the two-line address and patent dates, two-line nickel steel marking, and the caliber marking at the breech. There are Winchester factory
oval proofs on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The three-line model and trademark information is marked on the upper tang and the two-line patent dates and serial number are on the lower tang. The left side of the lower tang is marked “197”, which is repeated in the stock inlet. It is fitted with a Lyman beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable notch rear sight.
