CONDITION: Fine, retains most of an old
professional refurbished brown twist finish
on the barrel, with applied brown finish on the
casehardened frame, attractive gold inlays, and
a few small patches of light pitting. Wood is very
fine with attractive grains, a repaired and spliced
section on the left rear of the forend, a few discreetly
filled in small cracks behind the upper and lower tangs,
and defined edges overall. Mechanically excellent. This historically significant early Ottoman presentation gold inlaid Rolling Block shotgun, serial number 6, would be a prized centerpiece in any antique firearms collection!
