U.S. DWM Model
1902 American Eagle
Cartridge Counter Luger
pistols produced
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, with 85% plus original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, minor spotting and mild edge wear and handling marks overall. The original straw components remain 50% intact, and have faded to a dark tone on the left side of the pistol, but are brighter on the right. The grips are very fine, with mild dings and scratches. Shrinkage and yellowing appropriate to age is showing on the celluloid window to the Powell Device, with some cracking in the vicinity of the “6” and “7” positions. Mechanically excellent. A rare opportunity to own an important milestone in American small arms development.
Estimate: 55,000 - 85,000
