Pre-World War II Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Octagon Barrel Rifle in .22 LR - Serial no. 4162, 22 LR cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1933. This rifle is in the scarce .22 Long Rifle configuration with an octagon barrel, which Winchester offered from 1932-1946. Lyman 3W beaded blade front and Winchester Model 32B elevation adjustable rear sights, first style barrel inscription followed by the “.22 LONG R.” caliber designation, later style magazine tube without collar, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, round top receiver, correct checkered hammer lock, matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard assembly, and factory drilled and tapped upper tang with flip up peep sight. Round 11 groove slide handle and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine with 95% professionally restored blue, light slide retraction marks, replacement magazine tube, minor handling marks, and mixed gray patina on the blued muzzle. The refinished wood is also very fine with some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000 LOT 3039 Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle in Desirable .22 W.R.F. - Serial no. 130432, 22 WRF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1902, it has standard markings including “W.R.F.” on the front face of the receiver and correctly lacking Winchester factory proofs. It is fitted with beaded blade front, elevation adjustable notch rear, and tang peep sights. It is mounted with a 12-groove slide handle and a smooth straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine retaining 80% plus original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. Patterns of original case colors remain on the buttplate. 95% original case colors remain on the hammer. The wood is also very fine with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. LOT 3040 Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle with Box - Serial no. 285412, 22 S L L R cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, standard barrel markings, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, matching serial numbers on the barrel and trigger guard assemblies, and added red filled “WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK” roll mark on the left side of the receiver. Smooth pistol grip stock and round, flat bottom grooved forearm with checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. Includes reproduction box, numbered to the gun with “SPECIAL” ink stamped on the label, manual, and reproduction hang tag. CONDITION: Excellent overall as upgraded to current configuration with 99% high quality blue finish, sharp markings, and a few scattered light storage marks. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with some light corner and edge wear. It appears to have never been assembled. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,000

Desirable Winchester Model 62A Slide Action Gallery Rifle in .22 Short with Box - Serial no. 389336, 22 short cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1958. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, standard two-line barrel markings and Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, triangular gallery style loading port on the magazine tube, matching numbers on the receiver and lower tang, and serrated hammer and trigger. 17 groove flat bottom forearm and plain straight grip stock with checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Includes original box. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% plus professionally restored blue finish with limited handling marks and a light bolt retraction mark on top of the receiver. Box is fine with some staining on the lid. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000
