Harrington & Richardson Model 50 Reising Submachine Gun, Class
III/NFA C&R Fully Transferable Machine Gun, with Case and Accessories - Serial no.
2007, 45 ACP cal., 11 inch fluted bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. A closed-bolt blowback-
operated submachine gun, the Reising Model 50 saw action with the U.S. Marines in the Pacific
as a substitute for the M1 Thompson, though they found their best success as defensive weapons for war-essential industries and as patrol carbines for American police forces. Blade front and elevation adjustable peep rear sights, with a flash hider/muzzle brake, cooling fins on the barrel, three-line Worcester address near the ejection port, and three-position selector/safety on the right side. What appears to be a
reversed “ET” is stamped on the left side of the receiver near the edge of the wood. Smooth
pistol grip stock with a cocking lever on the underside and a lightly ribbed buttplate.
Included with the lot is a black leatherette case, two extra Reising magazines, and a
magazine for a Thompson Submachine Gun.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 97% plus refinished high polish blue, showing some discoloration on top of the receiver, polishing marks on the left side, light handling marks and some scattered spotting. The stock is excellent, with some light dings and
scuffs. The case shows minor wear, with some light spotting on the magazines. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) that is classified as a “Curios or Relic” as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are still subject to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.

Excellent Ruger AC-556 Selective Fire Rifle, Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 191-04487, 223 cal., 13 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood stock. Marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 family of weapons is the Mini-
14 .223 caliber rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Fitted with a birdcage flash hider and blade and adjustable peep sights. The selector switch is positioned on the right rear of the receiver, with positions for semi-automatic, three-round burst and fully automatic. Smooth hardwood stock, with vented synthetic upper cover, checkered pistol grip and folding metal buttstock. Includes a black nylon web sling, black soft case, and two extra magazines.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retains 95% plus original blue finish with some light handling marks and defined edges in the stock. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44
