       CONDITION: Very good with dark brown patina and some mild pitting on the iron, period replacement rear sight (from an undetermined carbine of different make) and added filled dovetail on top of the barrel through the barrel address, attractive aged patina on the fine brass frame and buttplate, a dent visible on the right forward section of the frame, and general mild overall wear appropriate for a Civil War used Henry rifle. The period refinished stock is also very good and has a replacement sling swivel on the left, some horizontal chipping visible at the toe, and mild dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
