Excellent World War I German DWM Model 1914 Artillery Luger Semi- Automatic Pistol Rig with Matching
Numbered Shoulder Stock, and Holster - Ser no. 5224, 9 mm Luger cal., 7 7/8 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. “1917” dated chamber and “DWM” monogram on the toggle link. Blade front and
tangent rear sights. Three “crown” and gothic letter military proofs and an Imperial eagle firing proof on
the right of the barrel extension, with the Imperial eagle on the barrel and breech block. Matching visible serial
numbers on various components including the inside of the
both checkered walnut grip panels and the board shoulder stock with
matching number on the attaching iron and on the left of the stock. The
aluminum bodied magazine is numbered “6929g” on the walnut base. Also includes
a period brown leather holster with “5290” on the outside of the flap, maker name and
“1915” date on the underside of the flap, a takedown tool, cleaning rod, and brown
leather suspension belts.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% original blue finish with only light finish wear at the
sides of the muzzle and a few of the high edges. 80% original straw colors visible on
the small components. The grips are also excellent with a lightened appearance, minimal
handling marks, and crisp checkering and edges. Mechanically excellent. The stock is fine,
with some scattered light scratches on the wood with defined markings and edges, and the leather is very good with some moderate age related stress wear overall.

Exceptional DWM Model 1900 Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 4367,
7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, checkered walnut grips. These Model 1900 semi- automatic pistols were the first true commercial Luger pistols produced by DWM and can be found in the 2000-19000 serial number range. It has the standard blank chamber area with the DWM logo on the front toggle. The majority of these pistols ended up on the U.S. market. This pistol has all the early desirable Luger
features such as the early long frame, dished toggles with toggle lock on the right side, recessed breechblock, 4 3/4 inch fast tapered barrel, grip safety, no stock lug, and hold-open device. The lower safety area is correctly unmarked and polished. “GERMANY” marked on the front
of the frame, appropriate to an American import of the era, and German proofs on the left of the barrel extension. It is correctly serial numbered in
the commercial fashion with the full matching serial number under the barrel and on the front of the frame, and the partial matching serial number visible on various components including on the underside of both checkered walnut grip panels. It is complete with one correct original magazine with nickel-plated
aluminum body and an unnumbered walnut base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% original blue finish. Straw colors are original
and remain 85% intact. Grips are also excellent with a few scattered dings and compression marks on the lower right panel. Mechanically excellent.
