Desirable .45-90 W.C.F. Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 79993, 45-90 WCF cal., 26 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. The Model 1886 is one of the finest Winchester models and was the first repeater based on designs
   by John M. Browning. It was developed as a replacement for the weaker toggle link action Model 1876, but their production was fairly limited at around 160,000 between 1886 and 1935. This fine example is chambered in the desirable .45-90 WCF caliber and was manufactured 1893. The rifle
has the desirable casehardened frame and is fitted with a Lyman beaded blade front sight and a buckhorn elevation adjustable rear sight. The top barrel flat is stamped with the two-Winchester address ahead of the rear sight
and “45-90 W.C.F.” at the breech. The upper tang is stamped “-MODEL 1886-.” The lower tang has the two-line patent dates marking and the serial number. The straight grip stock is fitted with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine. The barrel and magazine tube retain 70% original blue finish mixed with an attractive plum appearance. The bolt retains 95% original blue finish. The loading gate retains 90% original nitre blue. The frame retains 75% original case colors with the strongest colors on the right side and lower tang. 60%
original case colors remain on the hammer, lever, and forend cap. Patterns of original case colors remain on the buttplate. The wood is fine with a couple of divots and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Exceptional Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine in .44 W.C.F. - Serial
no. 992914, 44 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1928. Standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech.
Fitted with pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights, and a saddle ring on the left of the
receiver. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 90% plus bright original blue finish with a few patches of smooth brown patina on the receiver and buttplate, and some light saddle ring wear. The wood is excellent with some scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action
Musket - Serial no. 571369B, 44 WCF cal., 30
inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This musket was manufactured in 1903 and may
have been part of the group of 700 muskets
noted from the 569,000-571,000 serial number range

that were shipped to Central America in September 1903 and were apparently never
issued and were re-imported to the United States in the late 1950s in near new, un-fired condition. The third model receiver features the distinctive integral dust cover guide and dust cover with serrated edges. The barrel is fitted with a block front sight that also doubles
as the lug for a socket bayonet and a military pattern folding leaf rear sight graduated to 800 yards (Winchester No. 46A musket rear sight). The musket has the full-length forearm, three barrel bands, and a carbine buttplate with sliding brass trap. The stock
compartment is empty. Sling swivels are fitted to the stock and middle barrel band. The barrel, magazine, barrel bands and receiver are blued, the hammer, loading lever, trigger and buttplate are casehardened, and the loading gate is niter blued. The walnut stock and forearm have an oil finish. The top of the barrel is roll-stamped:
“WINCHESTER’S REPEATING ARMS. NEW HAVEN. CT./KING’S IMPROVEMENT PATENTED MARCH 29.1866. OCTOBER 16.1860.” between the lower barrel band and the rear sight. The caliber designation “44 W.C.F.” is stamped on the top of the barrel between the rear sight and the receiver. “44 CAL” is inscribed on the bottom of the cartridge elevator. The upper receiver
tang is roll-stamped: “MODEL 1873” with foliate designs on either end. The serial number is located on the lower receiver tang between the loading lever latch and the rear tang screw. CONDITION: Excellent with 95% plus original blue and casehardened finish, 98% plus of the bright original niter blue on the loading gate, a few minor spots of oxidation and scattered small patches of
pitting, some scratches on the right side of the frame, and mostly only minor handling and storage wear. The reoiled wood is very fine has a few scattered dings and some nice figure on sections of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. This is an attractive Winchester Model 1873 Musket.
