improved cylinder/modified, and chambers marked 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors. The blued action shows Winchester
21-1 pattern engraving showing scrollwork on all sides with geometric rounds at the pivot pin
and floorplate screw. The gun features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured fancy fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend and pistol grip
stock with blued steel grip cap, “E/A/J” in the gold inscription oval, and factory rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .731/.731 inches;
choke constriction .004/.014 inches; minimum wall thickness .029/.031 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 15 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with minor handling evidence, a patch of spotting on the left barrel ahead of the forend, some scuffing near the left muzzle, a few flakes in the varnish, and sharp checkering on the otherwise excellent wood. Mechanically excellent.

Outstanding and Highly Desirable Pre-World War II Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun with Original Box - Serial no. 42111, 410 gauge, 28 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1940 with a single bead sight, standard barrel markings, 3 inch chamber and full choke. Mounted with a 14
groove walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered Winchester buttplate. 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch
drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull. Comes with the original box numbered to the gun and manual.
CONDITION: Excellent with 95% plus of the original blue finish remaining, showing moderate normal cycling wear on the magazine tube and two very small blemishes visible on the upper left edge of the receiver. There is also some muzzle and high point wear. The wood
is also excellent with a few scattered minor dents and handling marks. The markings are sharp. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some minor edge wear and moderate staining.

Excellent Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun with Ventilated Rib - Serial no. 1743487,
12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1959 with dual bead sights on the vent rib, standard barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and choked full. Mounted with diamond pattern checkered
nicely figured walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with metal grip cap and solid Winchester recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches, drop at the heel is 2 5/16 inches and drop at the comb is 1 1/2 inches.
CONDITION: Excellent with 98% original blue finish remaining, showing some mild cycling wear on the magazine tube and a couple very small
dings on the upper right rear of the receiver. The wood is very good with some minor gouges and dents along the bottom of the stock, as well as some minor dents and scratches on the right side. The forearm shows only a few very minor handling marks, and overall the checkering is very crisp. The markings are sharp. Mechanically excellent.
