Spanish CETME “Sport” Semi-Automatic Rifle -
Serial no. S-02731*, 7.62 cal., 18 inch round bbl., matte black finish, walnut stock, composite grips. This is an early production rifle that was manufactured in Spain by the CETME corporation and imported into the US in the 1960-70s. This was originally based on the German design and was a predecessor to the H&K series of assault rifles. The side of the receiver is marked “MADE IN SPAIN/Exclusively for MARS Equipment Corp./ Chicago 45, Illinois U.S.A.” It has the four position flip rear sight and wooden buttstock. The receiver and trigger housing use the early “pin hinge” configuration, with an indentation in the right side of the housing
preventing installation of a full automatic trigger pack. Includes three extra magazines and a sling. CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% original matte black finish with some light marks, light ejection evidence, and a few scattered dings on the furniture. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 7,000
      Franchi SPAS-12 Semi-Automatic and Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. AA13838, 12 gauge, 21 1/2 inch round bbl., black/grey finish, metal stock. An Italian designed multi-role shotgun introduced in 1979, the SPAS-12 (Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun) is a dual action platform with the ability to swap between semi-automatic and pump action modes of fire. The inclusion of the pump action feature was intended to allow the platform to reliably cycle low pressure loads, like bean bag or tear gas rounds. Features fixed blade front and peep rear sights, 2 3/4 inch chamber, full length magazine tube, stamped metal heat shield, and folding stamped metal stock. The receiver has standard marking and features, including an enlarged rotary safety lever and 1987 date code on the bottom. Fitted with a ribbed polymer slide and pistol grip. CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus of original black and grey finishes, mild wear on the barrel, scattered light handling marks, cycling wear, and some spotting on the magazine tube. A rubber washer inside the folding stock has disintegrated; otherwise, the furniture is in good order. The forearm is a bit stiff shifting from pump to semi-automatic, but otherwise mechanically excellent in both modes. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000 LOT 3573 Pre-Ban Heckler & Koch HK91 Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. A033026, 308 Win cal., 18 inch round bbl., black finish, metal stock. Manufactured in 1981. Fitted with a birdcage flash hider, hooded post front and four position diopter drum rear sight, “IA” (1980) bolt and bolt carrier, black textured polymer forend, grip, and telescoping metal buttstock. Fire controls are marked “0/1.” Magazine absent. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% original black finish with minor handling marks and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Imbel Model L1A1 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Sling - Serial no. 127623, 308 Win cal., 24 inch round bbl., black finish, walnut stock. Features a winged blade front and folding peep post rear sights, with a DSA Inc. “SA58” marked Picatinny rail dust cover. The receiver
itself is marked “IMBEL - Brazil” and is CAI import marked on the right side, with the serial number dot punched into the right side of the magazine well and “AZEC/12 03” marked under the trunnion. The barrel is fitted with a faux flash hider. Fitted with British L1A1 parts including an “S/R” fire control group, adjustable gas block, carry handle, smooth hardwood forearm, pistol grip, and buttstock. Includes tan web sling. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus of the black finish, with light handling marks and edge wear. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
LOT 3575 Pre-Ban Armalite Model AR180 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Box and Accessories - Serial no. S11179, 5.56 mm cal., 19 inch round bbl., matte black finish, synthetic stock. This is an early AR180 manufactured by Howa (Japan) for Armalite. The left side of the receiver has the full “ARMALITE” legend and receiver markings. The barrel has pronged flash hider and adjustable front and rear sights with a black handguard, pistol grip, and folding buttstock. With shipping box, scope mount, cleaning rod, sling, and manual. CONDITION: Excellent with 98% original matte black finish remaining, showing light handling marks on the metal furniture. Functions erratically if selector held between “SAFE” and “FIRE,” otherwise mechanically excellent.
