Special Order First Generation Colt Single Action
Army Revolver with Factory Letter - Serial no. 324778, 45 LC cal.,
7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut grips. The accompanying factory letter confirms the 7
1/2 inch barrel in .45 caliber, blue finish, “wood” stocks, and special order 3 1/2 to 4 pound trigger pull. The letter also states the revolver was sold and shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co., Chicago, Illinois, on November
12, 1912. This was a single gun shipment. A Sheard pinned beaded blade front sight has been added (pinned to the
cut down original factory blade sight). The barrel has the one-line Hartford address on top and “45 COLT” on the left side. The left side of the trigger guard has the two-line patent dates followed by a Rampant Colt. The trigger guard has a Colt factory triangle proof on the left side and a Colt factory six-pointed rework star on the right side. Matching serial numbers are on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% plus factory refurbished blue finish with holster type wear and grip straps thinning to gray. The hammer and frame retain 75% factory case colors. The reoiled grip is fine with a small chip at the toe (left side) and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army
Revolver with Factory Letter - Serial no. 302484, 32
WCF cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips.
The accompanying factory letter for this revolver confirms the 7 1/2 inch barrel in .32-20 and blue finish (type of stocks not listed). The letter also states the revolver was shipped
to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. of Chicago, Illinois, on April 13, 1908. This was a two gun shipment. The barrel and frame have standard Colt markings, and the left side of the
trigger guard is marked with a Colt factory triangle proof and the number “6”. Matching serial
number appears on the frame, trigger guard, back strap and both grip panels (“2484”).
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 70% original blue finish with mild holster type wear, cylinder drag lines and grip straps thinning to a brown. The hammer and frame also retain 70% original case colors. The grips are excellent with limited handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Very Fine Colt First Generation Single Action
Army Revolver - Serial no. 357387, 45 LC cal., 5 1/2
inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber
grips. Manufactured in 1940. The barrel has the one-line Hartford
address on top and “COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45” on the left
side. The frame has the two-line patent dates marking followed
by a Rampant Colt. The trigger guard has the number “4” and a Colt
factory triangle proof on the left side. Matching serial numbers are on the
frame, both grip panels, and the trigger guard and back strap under the grip panel. The rear of the frame and the loading gate have a matching assembly number.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish showing some scattered
minor high edge wear, grip straps thinning to brown, and cylinder drag lines. 80% plus original case colors remain on the frame. The grips are also very fine with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Revolver - Serial no. 352503, 38 WCF cal., 7
1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in 1929. The barrel has the
one-line Hartford address on top and “38 W.C.F.” on the
left side. The frame has the standard two-line patent dates
followed by a Rampant Colt. The left side of the trigger
guard has the number “1” and a Colt factory triangle proof. Matching serial numbers are on the frame and on the right side of the trigger guard and back strap under the grip. The rear face of the refinished replacement cylinder is number “98” The revolver is wearing a set of desirable replacement checkered diamond walnut grips featuring Rampant Colt medallions
CONDITION: Fine, retaining 80% original blue finish on the barrel with thinning to
brown on the balance. Cylinder is a refinished replacement. 70% plus original case colors remain on the hammer and frame. The grips are fine with minor handling marks, a small surface chip towards the bottom (right panel), and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
