The revolver retains 60% plus original casehardened finish, particularly strong and vibrant case colors on the hammer, 50% original blue finish with wear from holster use and cleaning leading to even fading to smooth gray-brown patina on the balance, some light pitting concentrated on the barrel and cylinder, and general mild overall wear from age and use, including mild cylinder drag lines. The grip is also very fine and has distinct cartouches and year markings, some dings and scratches, mild edge wear, and hand-worn finish. Mechanically excellent.
