Very Scarce Early First Year Production “Lucky” Serial Number 21 Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless Semi- Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 21, 32 ACP cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1903, in the first
few days of production. The left side of the early barrel bushing slide is marked with the two-line, two-block patent date and address, and circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The right side of the slide has the caliber marking. It is
fitted with a rounded blade front sight and rounded top notch rear sight, nitre blued small parts, checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt and Colt scalloped banner, and a full blue magazine.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily on the back strap and edges. The grips are fine with a minor chip absent from the front upper edge of the left panel, and otherwise minimal handling evidence and well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. Fine Colt Military Model 1905 Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 4353, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
Manufactured in 1910. Fixed sights with the two-line, two-block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and “AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 45 RIMLESS SMOKELESS” on the right ahead of the ejector
port. “VP” and “W” are stamped on the trigger guard. It features a checkered hammer and slide catch, smooth trigger, and checkered grips with
diamond flats around the screws.
CONDITION: Fine. 60% of the original high polish blue finish, remains with a gray patina on the grip straps and high edges, mild spotting and scattered handling marks. Vivid niter blue is present on the trigger and extractor with lightly faded case colors on the hammer. Grips are good as sanded/recheckered with some dents and flat spots. A 1 1/2 inch vertical crack is visible in the front of the otherwise very good magazine. Mechanically excellent.

Colt Military Model 1902 Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Factory Letter - Serial no. 13294, 38 Colt auto cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured
in 1904, this Military Model of 1902 pistol exhibits the early-production high polish blue finish and rounded hammer which
was completely phased out around serial number 37000, when the numbers began ascending again from 30200 to 43266. This
pistol was manufactured in the first serial number block descending from 15200 to 11000. The included factory letter confirms
the current configuration with the grips not listed, as well as shipment to H & D Folsom Arms Company in New York on 20 August 1904. The
left side of the slide is marked with the three-line patent dates and two-line address arranged in two blocks with the circled Rampant Colt at the rear. The right side of the slide has the two-line caliber marking, “AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS” behind the ejector port and
“MODEL 1902” ahead of it. The left side of the frame has the serial number and “W” on the trigger guard. It is fitted with blade and rounded top notch sights, early forward checkering on each side of the slide, a lanyard swivel on the lower left of the grip frame, checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colts and “COLT” banners, and a correct nickeled magazine with “PAT’D SEPT 9 1884” marked base.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 70% of the bright original high polis blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily towards the front of the slide and on the grip straps. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered minor flat spots and handling marks, and otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
