This impressive weapon has the standard Barrett Manufacturing Inc. markings on the left side of the magazine well. Fitted with a heavy fluted barrel with Barrett two chamber chevron muzzle brake, ventilated steel chassis, flip up blade front and rear peep sights, AR style fire controls and checkered grip, and solid rubber recoil pad. With Pelican 1750 case, cleaning kit, carry handle, rear monopod, extra magazine, Nightforce NXS 5.5-22X scope, scope box, and scope sunshade.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% original phosphate finish with some light handling marks, some spotting at the rear of the upper receiver, and some spots of discoloration in the finish. Mechanically needs adjustment as the trigger does not release the firing pin. Scope is excellent with clear optics and a crisp reticle. Case is excellent with limited storage and handling marks. Exceptionally Rare Accuracy International G22 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Zeiss Scope and Case - Serial no. 98G2220007, 300 Win magnum cal., 28 inch fluted round bbl., black finish, synthetic stock. Offered here is one of a mere ten Accuracy International No. 98 G22 Rifles manufactured during the German Government contract production run for the United States civilian market. The rifles are built on Accuracy International’s tried and true Arctic Warfare Magnum series of rifles which uses a stock shell system fitted around an internal chassis to create a supremely accurate rifle. This particular example features a knurled thread cover at the front of the clamp on muzzle break which is attached to the free-floated fluted barrel which is marked “7982” on the left side and “300 WIN MAG” on the right of the chamber. The receiver is marked “ACCURACY INTERNATIONAL” ahead of the importer information on the left side and “98 G22 20007” on the right. Fitted to the top of the action is a Zeiss ZF3-12x56mm scope ahead of an adjustable rear sight. The action is fitted into the aforementioned chassis system with an adjustable comb and length of pull as well as an extension coming out of the front holding a bipod and side mounted accessory rail. Included with the rifle is a certificate of authenticity, a copy of an article on the rifle, a military style case with the packing list in German on the interior of the lid, a sling, front sight, cleaning tools, four extra magazines, a glint shield, and a scope cover. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original black finish with limited handling marks. There is a check mark hand marked on top of the bolt shroud. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics, a crisp reticle, and untested electronics. Case is excellent with limited storage and handling marks.
