Rare 45 ACP Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Armory Edition Revolver with Case and Extra .45 Long Colt Cylinder - Serial no. SA65385, 45 ACP cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, original grips. Manufactured in 1983 by the Colt Custom Shop, this revolver is one of 250 produced in this configuration (500 total) known as the “Armory Edition”. The extra cylinder is .45 Long Colt and both cylinders are matched to the gun. The grips and grip straps have matching serial numbers. Complete with a wood presentation case, Colt “wood grain” box, original shipping box, a copy of “The Colt Armory”, by Ellsworth Grant, and case key.
