of only 496 produced with the vast majority (350 units) being shipped overseas making this one of only 146 sold in the U.S. Ramped blade front and adjustable rear sights, standard Colt markings on the barrel, knurled casehardened hammer, and checkered walnut grips. Includes the original Colt “wood grain” box and factory test target.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish, light cylinder drag line, limited handling evidence, and sharp grip checkering. The box is fine with some peeling to the lid. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,500

Action Revolver with Pearl Grips - Serial
no. 30204, 22 LR cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue
finish, pearl grips. Manufactured in 1943 as
a Officer’s Model Target. This revolver features a replacement
Officers Model Match barrel with a spray of oak leaf and acorn
engraving at each end as well as a gold inlaid ring. The frame
and cylinder are engraved with a matching motif, and the frame has been fitted with a King Gunsight Company replacement hammer and pearl grips. The engraver’s initials “RD” are found on an acorn below the cylinder latch release. The consignor attributes the initials to engraver
Rex Durante Anderson.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as embellished, retaining 99% plus refinished blue finish with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
