The carriage is fitted with front rod hooks, iron bound 12 spoke wheels with brass axle caps, cascable elevation wheel, a hanging front water bucket, and a rope hook
on the trail with a length of white cotton, or linen rope wrapped around it. Consignor notes state that the carriage was produced by The Ashe Cannon Works of Georgia, mainly using salvaged and refurbished original wood, and attribute the cannon itself as having been purchased via public collection by a small town in the American South. We have no documentation to support this claim.
CONDITION: Fine, the tube has a green natural aged bronze patina, with the top being smooth and slightly glossy, the underside has the same type of green patina, though it is rougher due to less exposure. Carriage is very fine as professionally custom made, with good paint, and some slight rust on the trunnion pins.
