  The intricate multi-colored gold floral inlays continue on the toplever, triggerguard, top tang, and lower tang which also shows the serial number in white gold. The gun features a single trigger, double rolled triggerguard, and a tang mounted manual safety switch with gold inlaid “SAFE”. Finally we come to the magnificently figured floral carved, multi-color gold wire inlaid, and multi-point checkered stock and forend. The forend shows four panels of this floral scroll carving with gold inlays ranging in width, the huge continuous checkering panel is surrounded by yellow gold wire borders, and gold inlaid metal fittings including the Anson button style release and the extended forend shoe which has a seamless fit to the action with a geometric border design running from one to the next. The pistol grip stock displays tear drop carved flats, four sections of the aforementioned gold inlaid floral carving, yellow gold bordered checkering panels at the wrist, a scalloped horn grip cap, and a final
example of the exceptional multi-colored gold inlays on the blued skeleton buttplate which surrounds the checkered bare but. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both measure .614 inches; choke constriction .036/.036 inches; minimum wall thickness .035/.035 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 5/8 inch drop at heel; 14 13/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 15 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue, casehardened, and multi-colored gold finishes with only minimal handling evidence. The wood has sharp checkering and carving.
