U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1911
Semi-Automatic Pistol with Extra
Magazines and Pouch - Serial no. 76360, 45
ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
grips. Produced as part of the serial number
block reserved for the Springfield Armory. Blade front and flat top
notch rear sights The two-block Colt patent and Springfield address markings are on the left side of the slide ahead of the ordnance bomb symbol. The eagle with shield motif and “MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY.”
are on the right. The ordnance bomb is repeated on the frame with “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” ahead of the slide stop and the serial number on the right. The full blued barrel is marked “S” on the left of the lug. Fitted with a unique replacement wide knurled hammer marked “C3839-”, short grip safety, long trigger, flat mainspring housing and lanyard staples on the housing and correct Springfield produced loop magazine. Includes a Rock Island Arsenal leather magazine pouch with two extra Springfield magazines, one with loop, one without. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish
with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and a light takedown mark. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The magazine pouch is fine showing mild wear and some cracking.

World War II U.S. Union Switch & Signal
Model 1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol -
Serial no. 1054734, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round
bbl., Dulite finish, plastic grips. In May of 1942
the U.S. government initially placed an order
with Union Switch & Signal Co. for 200,000 Model 1911A1 pistols, an order
which was later revised to 55,000 pistols. This pistol was likely manufactured
early to mid-1943. The slide is marked with the “USS” monogram and “U.S.
& S. CO./SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A.” on the left side, with a Robert Downie “R.C.D.” on the left of
the frame, and standard U.S. government nomenclature on the right. It is fitted with blade
and notch sights, thin checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing with lanyard loop, replacement Keyes Fiber checkered grips, full blue “L” marked magazine, and a full blue barrel marked “HS” and “P” on the lug.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% of the original Dulite blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, with a minor takedown mark on
the left of the frame. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered
minor handling marks and otherwise crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

World War II U.S. Inspected Colt Service Model Ace Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. SM2719, 22 LR
cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 1942, near the start
of U.S. involvement in World War II. The left
side of the slide is marked with the standard
two-line address and patent dates, followed by
the Rampant Colt, and the right side has the standard Service Model Ace and
caliber markings. The right side of the frame has the serial number and “60”
on the trigger guard. The left side of the frame has a boxed “W.B.” inspection
mark and “T/VP” on the trigger guard. The barrel is unmarked and has a polished chamber. It
is fitted with blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, short checkered trigger, checkered arched mainspring housing, wide checkered hammer, long grip safety, checkered walnut grips, and a full blue magazine with Colt Service Model Ace markings on the base.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, most noticeably on the leading edges of the slide, front grip strap, and mainspring housing. The grips are also very good with a few scattered minor blemishes/flat spots and otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Outstanding World War II U.S. Ithaca Model 1911A1 Semi- Automatic Pistol with Box - Serial no. 2620943, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1945. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked “ITHACA GUN CO., INC./ITHACA, N.Y.”, and “P” on top, “FJA” inspected
frame, checkered stamped trigger,
thin serrated hammer and arched
mainspring housing, serrated slide
catch and thumb safety, reinforced
Keyes Fiber grips, full blue “L”
marked magazine, and a fully
blued barrel marked “F” and “P” on
the lug. Includes a correct period GI shipping box with “ITHACA GUN COMPANY, INC.” on the lid and an absent end label.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, as issued, retains 99% plus of the original parkerized finish with only the slightest handling marks and faint edge wear. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Included box is very good with some light corner wear. One will look a long time to find such an excellent example!

U.S. Colt Model 1911A1 National
Match Semi-Automatic Pistol -
Serial no. 1089664, 45 ACP cal., 5
inch round bbl., parkerized finish,
walnut grips. Originally produced by Colt in 1943, this pistol was
subsequently selected for upgrade to a National Match competition-
grade pistol. It is fitted with a serrated Patridge blade front and
Elliason adjustable rear sights, with a Colt “NM7791435” slide, “7267718/
NM” bushing, and “NM 7791414” barrel (numbered to the frame), and a “GHD” frame
with “SA”, “T”, “P”, and “NM” stamps. The second digit of the serial number appears to
have initially been stamped as an eight by mistake and then corrected by Springfield
Arsenal. Equipped with a long serrated adjustable trigger, serrated narrow hammer,
checkered front strap and serrated mainspring housing, checkered grips and a full
blue “L” magazine.
CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded to National Match configuration, retaining 98% of
the Springfield Arsenal applied parkerized finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, primarily on edges. The grips are excellent with a few minor scratches on the butt of the left panel and otherwise minimal handling marks with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

World War II Colt Model 1911A1
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no.
1638129, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl.,
parkerized finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1944, during the
height of World War II. The left side of the slide is marked with the
two-line/two-block address separated by the Rampant Colt, “G.H.D.”
inspected frame with “8/VP” proof, matching “P” proofs on the frame and slide, and standard U.S. property and army nomenclature on the right of the frame. Fitted with blade and notch sights, checkered slide catch, thumb safety, and wide hammer, long grip safety, and arched serrated mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Fitted with a replacement “R” marked magazine, later replacement full blue barrel with “P” on the lug and “COLT 45 AUTO” on the lower left, and reinforced checkered grips.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original parkerized finish with some very light edge wear and a small patch of discolored speckling/very light pitting on the right rear of the slide. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.
