Excellent Commercial Walther Model PP Semi-Automatic Pistol with Original Box and Accessories - Serial no. 887118, 7.65 mm auto cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured during World War II for the commercial market. Fixed sights with the left side of the slide marked with the Walther banner, two-line address/patent/caliber markings and “Mod PP”, and “eagle/N” proofs on the muzzle, chamber hood and slide. A proper matching number is hand-scribed inside the slide, which has no provision for a loaded chamber indicator; originally
a special feature, the indicator was very popular, and most commercial PP and PPK pistols are factory equipped with one. With a ring hammer, 90 degree safety, checkered grips and a flat magazine base. The “wood grain” box is matching to the pistol, with a numbered label and “Ohne/ Signalstift” (without chamber indicator) label on the lid, containing a barrel rod and a “WALTHER” banner equipment tin with oil bottle. CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% bright original high polish blue finish, showing some minor edge wear and handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent, with a few light scuffs and dings. The box is very good, with wear and tear concentrated along the edges, a few areas of tape reinforcement, and the internal divider loose but present.
Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750

Desirable World War II German Walther Zero Series P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster - Serial no. 010144, 9 mm para cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue
inish, plastic grips. Part of the initial run of Walther’s military P.38s, the Zero
Series served to “fine tune” the Walther HP to Wehrmacht specifications and
was an important stage in the pistol’s development. Finished in a high-polish
blue, the pistol is fitted with fixed sights, a round firing pin, and an exposed
extractor (this particular example is a third variant of that series). The slide is
marked with the Walther banner and “P.38” on the left, with “eagle/359” proofs on
multiple components, matching full numbers on the slide, frame and barrel lug, and
matching partial numbers on the locking block and inside the “Cewe/480” marked
grips. The magazine is marked “P.38” on the body. Includes a black leather flap
holster, marked “gxy 1942” and “P.38” on the rear, and an extra “P.38” marked magazine.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 50% of the original high polish blue finish with the balance
having thinned to a smooth grey or plum-brown patina, mostly on edges and the grip straps, and some scattered patches of light pitting. The grips are very good with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is also fine with moderate wear. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750

the floorplate a bit, otherwise mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,000
