Very Fine Pre-World War I Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 640174, 30 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Manufactured in 1913 with standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, pinned blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight, saddle ring on the left side of the receiver, and mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate and sling swivel eyes on the buttstock and barrel band. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% plus of the original blue finish with some scattered large patches of brown patina visible on the receiver and most of the buttplate showing a smooth brown patina. The wood is also very fine with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

N.Y.S.T. Marked Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 857409, 30 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This carbine was manufactured in 1917 and has “188/N.Y.S.T.” on the buttplate. The New York State Police was official formed on April 11, 1917, and New York State Troopers adopted the Winchester Model 1894 as their service long gun that same year. The carbine has a tall pinned blade front sight, notch and folding ladder rear sight, two-line address on the right, the two-line model and caliber marking on the left, “WP” proofs on the barrel and frame, a saddle ring on the left, the three-line model and trademark on the upper tang, the serial number on the bottom of the
frame, and “82” in a diamond partially over-stamped with a “4” just ahead of the trigger. CONDITION: Very good with 90% period refinished blue overall. scrapes on the right side of the rear barrel band, smooth gray patina where the finish has faded, and minor overall wear. The wood is also very good and has some nice figure on the forend, attractive grain throughout, and some minor ding and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 732261, 25-20 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Manufactured in 1913. The left side of the barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent date ahead of the rear sight and “25-20 W.C.F.” at the breech. The oval “WP” proof is marked on top of the barrel and receiver. The upper tang is marked with the three-line model, maker, and trademark information, and the serial number is marked on the underside of the receiver. The rifle has a pinned blade front sight, notch and ladder rear sight, saddle ring on the left, and gumwood stock and forearm. CONDITION: Fine with 70% plus original blue finish, some flaking on frame with a smooth brown patina, fading on the buttplate, 40% original case colors on the hammer and lever, some small patches of oxidation, and general mild overall wear. The wood is fine and has scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle with Ideal Loading Tool - Serial no. 305564, 38 WCF cal.,
24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1905. The rifle is fitted with a dovetail blade front sight, an
elevation adjustable rear sight, and a tang peep. The top barrel flat is stamped with the two-line Winchester legend as well
as “38 WCF.” The Winchester factory oval proof is on the barrel and receiver. Plain forearm and straight grip stock and stock fitted with
a crescent buttplate. Includes an Ideal .38 WCF nickel plated reloading tool.
CONDITION: Fine, retaining 60% plus original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. 30% original nitre blue remains on the loading gate. 40% original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The buttplate has a mixed gray patina and some pitting. The wood is very good with a number of minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The tool is fine with 75% original frosted nickel plating.

Very Fine Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 43889, 35 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1903 with standard markings including a small correct matted section on top of the receiver ring. Fitted with brass blade front and elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights and mounted with a smooth Schnabel tip forearm with ebony tip insert and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% of the original blue finish on the barrel, receiver, magazine, and lever, with the
balance including most of the buttplate showing primarily a smooth grey patina. The lightly sanded and refinished wood is fine
with a few scattered light handling marks and some visible excess varnish on the upper edges of the forearm. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
