on right forward frame. Includes
correct box and a scarce box of U.S.
Lot WCC 6200 Marked Winchester-Western .22 Long Rifle ammunition.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish with some
light handling marks and crisp checkering on the excellent grips.
Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with a corner tear and storage and handling marks. Provenance: The Mel Raucher Collection.

Very Fine Antique U.S. Navy Colt Model
1895 New Army & Navy Double Action Revolver with
Holster - Serial no. 95082, 38 Long Colt cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish,
hard rubber grips. This is a scarce example of a Colt Model 1895 revolver manufactured in 1898 under contract for the U.S. Navy. It has the standard 6 inch barrel with the top roll-stamped with the two-line Colt Hartford address and 1884, 1888 and 1895 patent dates and the left side of the barrel is roll-stamped with the caliber designation “COLT. D.A. 38”. The frame, crane, and cylinder latch all have the matching assembly number of “194”. The butt is roll-stamped: “U.S.N./anchor/.38 DA/trident/No/9345/W.B.W./95082”. The left side of the trigger guard bow, crane, cylinder latch, and rear face of the cylinder are all stamped with the navy trident. It is fitted with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with “COLT” in ovals at the top and each hand marked with the matching assembly number “194” inside. Includes a 1909 dated Rock Island Arsenal “US” leather holster. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% plus of the original blue finish and 90% plus of the original nitre blue with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, most noticeably on the grip straps, muzzle, and edges. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The modified holster is good with a hole drilled in the back of the belt loop, some mild wear, and a replacement piece in the muzzle end.

U.S. Smith & Wesson Model 1917 Double Action Revolver - Serial no.
98842, 45 ACP cal., 5 1/2 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. The revolver
has “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” on the barrel underside, flaming ordnance bomb on the frame,
eagle head inspection marks, and matching serial numbers
on the butt, right grip, cylinder and barrel.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with a few specks of surface oxidation, some light handling marks, and a partial cylinder drag line. The grip is excellent.

Very Fine U.S. Colt
Model 1895/1901 New Army
& Navy Double Action Revolver
with U.S. Holster - Serial no. 66611,
38 Long Colt cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. Originally manufactured

in 1895, this revolver was later arsenal upgraded to Model 1901 configuration, as was common with these New Army & Navy revolvers. The barrel is marked “COLT D.A. 38” on the left
side, and has the two-line Colt address/1884 to 1895 patent dates on the top, “R” and “R.A.C.” on the underside. The “R.A.C.” inspector mark is repeated on the back of the cylinder and on the left side of the frame. The butt is marked “U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1901” and “No/66/611” around the lanyard ring. The assembly number “6611” is stamped on the crane, the inside of the frame and on the cylinder latch. Includes a U.S. leather holster with Rock Island Arsenal markings on the flap along with “7”, “25”, “HP”, and “H.E.K.”
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original high polish blue finish and 90% plus of the nitre blue with the balance having mostly thinned to a smooth grey patina, most noticeably at the muzzle, on edges, and the grip straps. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with some mild wear.

Excellent World War II U.S. Colt Commando Double
Action Revolver - Serial no. 19213, 38 Special cal., 4 inch round
bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1942. “COLT
COMMANDO/38 SPECIAL” marked on the left of the barrel in two lines.,
ordnance “flaming bomb” stamped on the left of the frame ahead of the
hammer, and a pair of checkered grips with Rampant Colt imprints.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% original parkerized finish with a faint
cylinder drag line and a few very small spots of surface corrosion. Grips are also excellent with a few light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

magazine. Standard markings on the left side of the frame and slide. The right side of the frame is marked “PROPERTY OF/U.S.” with the stamped crossed cannon inspection mark underneath. The top of the barrel is marked “PROPERTY OF U.S.” It is fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with “H S” in the center.
CONDITION: Very god, retains 85% of the period refinished blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, primarily on the grip straps and barrel, with a few scattered patches of very light surface pitting on the barrel. The grips are very fine with a few scattered minor blemishes in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
