Very Scarce USAF Smith & Wesson Lightweight M13 Double Action Revolver with USAF Holster - Serial no. C287715, 38
Special cal., 2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/black anodized finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured circa 1952-1957, the serial number correctly falls into the noted
serial number range (C247000-C405363) of USAF M13s. The barrel has the standard S&W and caliber markings, The left side of the top strap is marked “REVOLVER, LIGHTWEIGHT, M13” and the back strap is marked “PROPERTY OF U.S. AIR FORCE”. The letter “P” is marked on the left side of the frame and the serial number is on the butt, rear of the cylinder, extractor, and bottom of the barrel. It has a black anodized finish with a blued steel barrel, casehardened hammer and trigger, and is fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions. Includes a black leather “U.S.A.F.” marked holster.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% of the original blue and black anodized finishes with some light edge/muzzle wear. 70% of the original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp
checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with
mild wear and the belt loop snaps detached from the body.

U.S. Property Marked Harrington & Richardson M4 Bolt Action Survival Rifle with Case and
Accessories - Serial no. 30618, 22 hornet cal., 16 1/4 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, metal stock. This
is an example of a “U.S. Air Force” M4 bolt action survival rifle. These rifles were developed after World War II
and were intended as a survival rifle for downed fighter pilots and bomber crews. They were not really intended
as a defensive weapon but more for hunting and survival. They saw service well into the late 1950s and early 1960s with B-52
bomber crews. Manufactured by H&R at the Worcester, MA plant, the rifle has a blade front sight and Lyman 55-H adjustable
rear peep sight, matching numbers on the barrel and receiver, two-line Worcester address on the left side of the receiver, “RIFLE, SURVIVAL, CAL .22,
M4 (HORNET CARTRIDGE)/U.S. PROPERTY” on the left side of the frame, and telescoping wire buttstock. Modern fixed flash hider. Includes its correct metal case, two extra magazines, one sealed 9-round box of .22 Hornet (M65), one empty .22 Hornet shell and part of an article cut out of Firearms News (volume 71, issue 13).
CONDITION: Very fine as modified, retains 95% original parkerized finish with some light freckling. Pinned/welded fixed flash hider on barrel as mentioned above. Mechanically excellent.
