Private Rome & Driven Wild Boar Hunting Donated by Italian Safari
Italian Safari is hosting one couple (one hunter and one non-hunter) for five days and four nights in Rome and Maremma. The winning bidder will have three days for the most unique tourism opportunities and two days of wild boar driven hunting. This one-of-a-kind program is designed to offer the most private and unique tourism opportunities in Rome as well as the most exciting hunting experience to be lived in Italy. Deep in the amazing beauty of the Maremma forest, you’ll be surrounded by the noise of barking dogs and beaters, with wild boars flashing around you and offering quick and challenging shots, then disappearing like ghosts into the bushes. You’ll spend the whole morning thrilled by each noise, seeing many boars and trying shots that are sometimes difficult and others much easier. As is traditional in Italy, the hunting area is fenced to ensure a safer and more organized hunt with a lower number of hunters. Accommodations in this donation are not only great places to relax after your visits, they are part of the experience! In Rome, you will be staying at a small villa which was lived in by the owners until just a few years ago when they converted it into a small hotel while keeping all the charm of aristocratic Roman palaces. During the hunt, you will stay in the owner’s private villa at the center of the hunting area. The hunting season runs from November until January, and it is suggested to try for the beginning of the season as the weather is usually still good and warm. If you want to extend your trip, the earlier dates will give
you more opportunities to stay at the nicest hotels. This hunt and tour is designed to host multiple guests, as the
winning bidder will have the opportunity to book the hunt in exclusivity by purchasing 4 extra spots. Included in this donation are: accommodation in a five-star hotel set in a restored private villa in Rome and in a hunting estate’s villa, two days of wild boar driven hunting, private and “off the beaten tracks” visits and experiences including a visit to a private villa in Rome and dinner in the most ancient member’s club in Rome, organization of a private visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel (the price of this is additional), an English-speaking Italian safari tour director during your entire stay, all transfers as described in your program, trophy fees for up to four wild boars with no size limit, and Italian VAT (22%) and VAT on the donation value. Not included in this donation are: international/ domestic flights, personal and cancellation insurance, extra trophy fees (750€/boar with no size limit), tips for loaders & beaters (150€/day) and housekeeping (100€/room/night), gun rental and ammunition (250€/hunter), extra tourism and visits, wines and alcoholic beverages, accommodation in the hunting area for additional non- hunters (350€/ person/day), 2% fee on credit card payments, and Italian VAT on excluded items.
