Colt Government Model
Semi-Automatic Pistol
with Original Box - Serial no.
C152440, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1928, during
the height of the Prohibition Era, this is an outstanding
example of Colt’s Government Model pistol, which would
have been one of the most highly desired sidearms during
that turbulent time. These pistols represented the cutting edge
of sidearm technology and were widely used by the military,
law enforcement, gangsters, and civilians alike. The left side of
the slide on this example is marked with the standard two-line
address and patent dates, while the right has the caliber marking
followed by the Rampant Colt. The right side of the frame has the
model marking and serial number. The left side of the trigger guard is
marked “1/VP”, while the right is marked “51”. It has standard features
and is fitted with a pair of checkered walnut grips and a two-tone
magazine with unmarked base. Includes the original box,
cleaning rod, and bore brush.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original blue finish, some very light edge wear, a few
extremely light handling marks, and a faint takedown mark. The grips are also excellent with only the
slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. It would be very difficult to find a higher condition,

Excellent Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer
Semi-Automatic Pistol with Original Box - Serial
no. 44406, 38 ACP cal., 4 1/2 inch round bbl., blue
finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1922. Half
moon blade front and notch rear sights on the slide, with the
two-line, two-block patent and address markings on the left
side and a matching serial number on the underside. Fitted
with a casehardened spur hammer and hard rubber grips with
“Rampant Colt” imprints and “COLT” banners. Included with
the lot is a matching numbered factory box with proper “Colt
Automatic Pistol.” and “POCKET MODEL.” end labels, instruction
sheet and barrel brush.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, with 95% of the original blue
finish, showing speckling on top of the slide, bright wear along
the edges and minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
The box is very fine, with light wear concentrated on the edges.
