CONDITION: Fine as factory produced using parts on hand with 40% blue on the
barrel, restored loading lever, traces of case colors on the frame, gray and brown
patina on the balance, mild oxidation and pitting on the cylinder along with a
partially legible roll scene, attractively aged patina on the brass grip strap, edge
wear, some signs of modification, and general mild scratches and dings. The grip
is also fine with minor edge wear, a few scratches, and small dings. The cylinder
revolves inconsistently and is out of time, but the action otherwise functions.
Overall, this is a fascinating and unusual example of a one-of-a-kind Colt “First
Model Dragoon Walker” revolver.
