Very Fine Pre-World War II Colt
Government Model Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Factory Letter - Serial no.
C127792, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
in 1921. The left side of the matching
numbered slide has the two-line
address/patent dates and the right side
has the caliber marking followed by a
Rampant Colt. The left of the trigger
guard is marked “W/VP” and the right is
marked “K/82”. The right side of the frame
has the Government Model marking
over the serial number. It has the “old model” features including the long smooth trigger, short
grip safety, wide checkered hammer, and flat smooth mainspring housing with lanyard loop.
The barrel has a polished chamber and a faint mark on the bottom in front of the lug. Fitted with
diamond pattern checkered grips and an unmarked two-tone magazine. The included factory
letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed) as well as shipment to Supple-Biddle
Hardware Company in Philadelphia on 13 January 1921.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% of the original high polish blue finish with the balance having
thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily on leading edges and the grip straps. The
grips are fine with wear on the bottom edges of both panels, a few scattered minor dings, and
otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Exceptional Colt Model 1903 Pocket
Hammer Semi-Automatic Pistol -
Serial no. 32656, 38 ACP cal., 5 inch
round bbl., blue finish, hard rubber grips.
Manufactured in 1914, the serial number
range for the Colt Model 1903 Pocket
Hammer pistols is somewhat odd, starting at number 19,999, working down
to 16,000, and then starting again at 20,000 and working up. Features fixed
oval blade front and rounded notch rear sights, a brass firing pin, casehardened
spur hammer, the two-line Colt patent dates and address on the left of the slide
with Rampant Colt behind the slide serrations, caliber designation on the right of the slide, The
serial number on the left of the frame, along with Colt “triangle/VP” and “1” factory proofs on the
left side of the trigger guard.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 85% plus bright original high polish blue finish with light
edge wear, minor cycling wear, some specs of freckling/spotting, minor handling marks, limited
thinning on the grip straps and crisp roll-marks. The grips are very fine with light compression/rub
wear to the defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Very Fine Savage Model 1917 Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Scarce Factory Box and Factory
Letter - Serial no. 239286, 32 ACP cal.,
3 3/4 inch round bbl., matte blue finish,
hard rubber grips. This pistol features
the two-line address, patent date, and
caliber marking on top of the barrel
extension. It is fitted with a blade front
sight and notch rear sight, as well as a
pair of checkered hard rubber grips with
Savage logos. The included factory letter
states that the pistol was manufactured
in 1920 and shipped on 20 December
1920 to E.K. Tryon, a large distributor in
Philadelphia. Also includes a rare factory
box correctly labeled to the gun.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the
original matte blue finish and original case colors
on the trigger with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, some scattered light spotting, and a small patch
of light pitting on the front left of the frame. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp
checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with some light handling/storage wear.

Desirable Pre-World War II Colt
Ace Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial
no. 6512, 22 LR cal., 4 3/4 inch
round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
Manufactured in 1936, this is a solid
example of a pre-World War II Colt Ace pistol. The
two-line address and patent dates are marked on the left side of the slide
followed by the Rampant Colt just behind the serrations, and the Colt Ace
logo and caliber markings on the right. The frame is marked with the serial
number on the right, “99” on the right side of the trigger guard, and “X/VP” on
the left. It is fitted with a blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, short checkered trigger,
wide checkered hammer, checkered arched mainspring housing, a set of fully checkered grips,
and a two-tone magazine with Colt Ace marked base.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 75% of the original blue finish with some mild handling/holster type
wear, scattered specks of light pitting/freckling, and some scattered light handling/takedown
marks. The grips are very fine with a few scattered light blemishes in the otherwise crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Nickel Plated Colt Model 1908
Vest Pocket Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Pearl Grips, Case,
and Factory Letter - Serial
no. 334364, 25 ACP cal., 2 inch
round bbl., nickel finish, pearl
grips. The included factory
letter confirms this pistol’s
configuration, including the 2
inch barrel in .25 caliber, nickel
finish, and pear grips, when
included in a shipment with six
pistols of the same type to Chas
Leonard Hardware Company in
Petersburg, Virginia, on November
28, 1923. The factory letter adds a further remark that the pistol
was returned to the factory on April 8, 1925, and subsequently
re-shipped to Empkie-Shugart-Hill Company in Council Bluffs,
Iowa, on June 26, 1925. Features fixed blade front and notch
rear sights, two-line Colt address and patent dates roll-marked
on the left of the slide with Rampant Colt behind the serrations,
the caliber designation on the right, and the serial number on
the left of the frame. The left of the trigger guard is marked with
Colt factory “1” over “triangle/VP” proofs, with “89” marked on the
right side. Fitted with a pair of smooth pearl grips with silver Colt
medallion inserts and a nickel plated magazine. Also includes a
Colt leatherette presentation box fitted to the pistol.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 99% factory re-plated
nickel with some limited minor handling evidence, a few faint scratches, and crisp roll-marks. The
grips are also excellent with some attractive aging to the right panel. Mechanically excellent.
