Russia. 12 3/4 inches overall, with a
7 inch drop point blade with etched
Damascus patterns and gold washed
scrollwork on both sides, and a gold
accented scene of a wolf in the woods
on the right. The gold plated guard is
scroll decorated with red stones and
silver enamel backgrounds, with a
smooth hardwood grip and a pommel
made from a gold washed sculpted wolf
head with red stones in the eyes and
around the base. The sheath is decorated
and finished to match, with silver and
deep blue enamel backgrounds and
a polychrome enamel scene of two
wolves in a winter forest on the right. Included with the lot is a standing flask/decanter, decorated to match the sheath,
approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2” wide, with a polychrome scene of two wolves in a winter forest, six gold
finished shot glasses with similar decoration, and a hardwood case which contains all of the above.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, with minor handling. The decoration on the items is all finely executed, with good color
and detail in the panel scenes.

Finely Decorated Zlatoust “Tiger” Knife
with Sheath, Stand, and Case - Manufactured at the Zlatoust
Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. 13 3/4 inches overall,
with an 8 inch drop point blade with etched Damascus
patterns, gold washed scrollwork on both sides, and a
scene of a gold washed stalking tiger on the right side.
The gold plated guard is scroll decorated with nickel and black enamel
backgrounds, with a smooth maple grip and a pommel made from a gold washed
sculpted tiger head with red stones in the eyes and around the base. The sheath is
decorated and finished to match, with tiger stripe patterns along the edges and a red
stone border around a scene of a tiger in the jungle on the right. Included with the
lot is a presentation case and a hardwood stand.
CONDITION: Excellent, with minor handling overall.

patterns and gold washed
scrollwork on both sides, and
a gold accented scene of a coiled
cobra on the right. The gold
plated guard is sculpted with a
snakeskin-like texture, with a
smooth fancy hardwood grip
and a pommel made from a
gold washed sculpted snake
head with green stones in
the eyes and red stones
around the base. The
sheath is gold washed
and etched with scroll
patterns and snake
motifs, with silver and
black enamel backgrounds, a larger scene of a snake on a branch on the left, and a polychrome enamel
scene of a snake coiled on and in a human skull on the right. Included with the lot is a display stand
featuring a green stone plinth and a dark stone sculpture of a hissing cobra, and a case with spaces for the
knife and stand.
CONDITION: Excellent, with minimal handling and attractive detail and color in the decoration.

Knife with Sheath, Stand, and Case -
Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in
Zlatoust, Russia. 15 1/2 inches overall, with a 9 inch
swept point blade with etched Damascus patterns and
gold washed scrollwork on both sides. The gold plated guard is scroll
decorated with nickel and black enamel backgrounds, with a smooth
maple grip and a pommel made from a gold washed sculpted horse
head with bright polished mane, red stones in the eyes and green
stones around the base. The sheath is decorated and finished to match,
with a braided pattern along the edges and a green stone border
around a scene of a cossack on horseback with a falcon on the right.
Included with the lot is a presentation case and a hardwood stand.
CONDITION: Excellent, with minor handling.

in Zlatoust, Russia. 13 inches overall, with
a 7 1/4 inch clip point blade with etched
Damascus patterns and gold washed
scrollwork on both sides, as well as a gold accented
scene of a falcon in fight with a mountain in the background on the
right. The gold plated guard is scroll decorated with blue stone accents
and silver and black enamel backgrounds, with a smooth hardwood
grip and a pommel made from a gold washed sculpted falcon head with
red stones in the eyes and blue stones around the base. The sheath is
decorated and finished to match, with a polychrome enamel scene of
two falcons with a mountain range in the background. Included with the
lot is a presentation case and a hardwood stand.
CONDITION: Excellent, with minor handling overall. The enamel work
shows fine color and detail. Some dings are present on the base.

Finely Decorated Zlatoust “Bear” Knife with Sheath,
Stand, and Case - Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in
Zlatoust, Russia. 15 1/4 inches overall, with a 9 inch drop point
blade with etched Damascus patterns and gold washed scrollwork
on both sides, as well as a gold accented scene of a bear facing
off against two wolves on the right. The gold plated guard is scroll
decorated with silver and black enamel backgrounds, with a smooth burl hardwood
grip and a pommel made from a gold washed sculpted bear head with red stones in
the eyes and around the base. The sheath is decorated and finished to match, with a
scene of a walking bear on the left and a polychrome enamel scene of three hunters
trying to fend off a bear attack on the right. Included with the lot is a presentation
case and a hardwood stand.
CONDITION: Excellent, with minor handling overall. The enamel sheath scene shows
excellent color and detail. Some dents present on the stand.
