Highly Attractive Pair of Engraved, Silver Plated Miniature Smith & Wesson
No. 3 Russian Revolvers with Carved Ivory Grips and Deluxe Case -A)
Miniature Smith & Wesson No. 3 Russian Second Model Revolver - NSN, 3 1/2
inch solid rib bbl., silver finish, ivory grips. Manufactured c. the 1990s by MD Miniart,
the consignor states that this beautiful pair of 1:2 scale, non-firing Smith & Wesson
No. 3 Russian Second Model revolvers were subsequently masterfully engraved by
Michael Dubber and fitted with deluxe carved ivory grips by Dennis Holland. The
maker’s marks are on the bottom of the barrel lugs and the revolvers exhibit about
three-quarter coverage beautiful floral scroll engraving, as well as full silver plated
finishes. The grips feature attractive relief carved floral motifs on the left panels and
relief carved Mexican eagles on the right panels. Includes an alligator skin wrapped
case, which the consignor states was produced by Gucci, that has the interior fitted
for both revolvers, two miniature cartridge boxes, an oiler, and a cleaning rod. Also
included are some miniature dummy cartridges.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retains 99% plus of the silver plating with a few
patches of slightly aged patina and the engraving and grip carving both remaining
crisp. The action mechanically functions. The case is excellent with some light
handling/storage evidence. B) Miniature Smith & Wesson No. 3 Russian Second
Model Revolver - NSN, 3 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., silver finish, ivory grips. See “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retains 99% plus of the silver plating with a few
patches of slightly aged patina and the engraving and grip carving both remaining
crisp. The action mechanically functions.

Miniature Colt Single Action Army
Revolvers -A) A. Uberti Miniature
Colt Single Action Army Revolver -
Serial no. 1341, 5 5/8 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish, rosewood grips.
Manufactured c. 1980s by Uberti as 47% scale, non-firing miniature replicas
of the legendary Colt Single Action Army revolver, this stunning set of four
was subsequently beautifully engraved with fine floral scroll patterns and
gold inlaid borders, panels, and bands at their muzzles. A very similar set of
four miniature Single Action Army revolvers, but with ivory grips, is featured on the
cover of and also on page 156 of “The Art of Miniature Firearms, Centuries of Craftsmanship”.
That set shows the backstrap of one of the revolvers gold inlaid for the 20th anniversary of
the Miniature Arms Society. “A. UBERTI ITALY” marked on the bottom of the barrels of each of
these revolvers, with the two-line patent dates on the left of the frames, “45 CAL” on the left
of the trigger guards, each with differing barrel lengths, and fitted with a rosewood grip. The A
gun has matching visible serial number “1341” on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. Includes a
hardwood display case with glass window and velvet interior fitted for the set of four, and two keys.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retains 99% bright original niter blue finish, gold inlays, and vivid case colors
on the hammer, with minimal handling evidence, crisp engraving, and attractive grip grain.
The action mechanically functions. Case is very fine.
B) A. Uberti Miniature Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 1263, 3 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish,
rosewood grips. Matching visible serial number “1263” on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retains 99% bright original niter blue finish, gold inlays, and vivid case colors on the hammer,
with minimal handling evidence, crisp engraving, and attractive grip grain. The action mechanically functions.
C) A. Uberti Miniature Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 1276, 2 5/8 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish,
rosewood grips. Matching visible serial number “1276” on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap.
