good, well above average condition
as Confederate used. The barrel, loading lever, cylinder, and hammer have a brown patina with scattered light pitting from period use. The brass frame, trigger guard, and back strap retain
an attractive golden aged patina with an area of hairline cracks at the right of the frame,
a chipped section at the right of the trigger guard, and numerous dings on the butt. The serial number markings are mostly clear. The

barrel wedge is slightly loose fitting. Grip is also very good with some light shrinkage, scattered scratches and dents,
