Mauser/Interarms Model 1902 Cartridge
Counter Commemorative Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol with Case and Accessories -
Serial no. C125von250, 9 mm cal., 4 inch round bbl.,
blue/straw/gold finish, walnut grips. One of 250
manufactured as a limited commemoration of the Model
1902 “Cartridge Counter” Luger pistols. Features fixed
P.08 style blade front and notch rear sights on the dished
toggle. The barrel is marked “9mm Parabellum” and “eagle/
nitro” proofed. Toggle link marked “DWM” in gold script.
The extension is marked with an “eagle/nitro” proof on the
left, and “INTERARMS/ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA” on the right
side. Frame marked with “eagle/nitro” and “82” dated Ulm
antler proofs on the left along with “Mod. 1902/Cartridge
Counter” in gold Gothic letters, “Made In Germany” at the
rear, and the serial number on the right side. Extractor
marked “GELADEN” and safety left blank. The front strap is
marked “MAUSER-WERKE A.G. Oberndorf a. N.” Fitted with
a pair of checkered walnut grips, with the left grip panel
featuring a Powell style cartridge window. With two nickel plated magazines
that include “Cal. 9m/m” marked walnut bases and color coded indicators on
the followers. Includes a leather display case, plastic display stand, original test fire target, original Mauser firearms passport, user’s manual, takedown tool, cleaning rod, two dummy rounds, an extra magazine, keys, two 1986 dated Interarms price lists, an issue of “Automatic Magazine,” an article copy of “Luger 1995” by Bob Shimek, and the collector’s notes.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue, straw, and gold finishes with minimal handling evidence and crisp grip checkering. The case is also excellent, with a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Mauser/Interarms Parabellum 06/73 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol
with Box - Serial no. 11.013772, 9 mm Luger cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue/
straw finish, walnut grips. Features a P.08 style serrated blade front and
fixed notched rear sights. The barrel is marked “9mm Luger.” The barrel is
marked “9mm Luger” and “FBM” proofed. Toggle link marked “Original/
Mauser banner.” The frame is marked with “American eagle” crest on the
chamber, “FBM” proof on the left, “Made In Germany” at the rear, and
“INTERARMS/ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA” on the right side. Extractor marked
“GELADEN” and safety marked “GESICHERT.” The front strap is marked
“MAUSER-WERKE A.G. Oberndorf a. N.” Fitted with a set of checkered walnut
grips. Includes original box, original test target, user’s manual, an extra
magazine, takedown tool, cleaning rod, and the collector’s notes.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original blue and straw
finishes with light cycling wear and some slight thinning at the top of the
back strap and on the grip safety, along with crisp grip checkering. The box is fine with a separating lid seam. Mechanically excellent.

Pistol with Box - Serial no. 11.012896, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 inch
round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Features a serrated blade front
and fixed notched rear sights. The barrel is marked “9mm Luger” and “FBM” proofed. Toggle link marked “Original/Mauser banner.” The
receiver is marked with “American eagle” crest on the chamber and “INTERARMS/ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA” on the right side. The frame is marked with “FBM” proof on the left and “Made In Germany” at the
rear. Extractor marked “GELADEN” and safety marked “GESICHERT.”
The front strap is marked “MAUSER-WERKE A.G. Oberndorf a. N.”

Scarce Documented “Display Group” Prototype Serial Number “10.0012” Mauser Parabellum 29/70 Luger Semi- Automatic Pistol with Box - Serial no. 10.0012, 30 Luger Auto cal.,
4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut grips. This pistol is one of three well documented Mauser “Display Group” prototype Parabellum Luger pistols, being the highest numbered of the three. Originally a 1947 Swiss Ordonnanzpistolen 06/29 W+F (serial number P78220), this
pistol was reworked by Mauser
to approximate the configuration of what would become the
Parabellum 29/70 during negotiations with Sam Cummings of
Interarms in 1969. This specific pistol has appeared in several
different publications, including on page 130 of John Walter’s
“Luger.” Features fixed Swiss style blade front and notch rear
sights. All control knobs are left smooth without checkering. The barrel is marked with an eagle/nitro” proof, toggle marked with “Original/Mauser banner” and eagle/nitro” proof. The left side of the extension is marked with “eagle/nitro” and “69” dated Ulm antler proofs. Frame marked “MAUSER PARABELLUM/Cal. .30 Parabellum” on the left, “Made In Germany” at the rear, and with the serial number on the right side. The extractor is marked “GELADEN” and safety marked “S.” The front strap is marked “MAUSER-WERKE A.G. Oberndorf a. N.” Fitted with a pair of Swiss style plain border checkered walnut grips. With original box, plastic display stand, takedown tool, cleaning rod, an issue of “Automatic Magazine” which features the pistol, a July 1986 issue of “Guns Magazine,” and the collector’s notes. There are few Mauser Parabellum 29/70 pistols that are as well documented as this.
CONDITION: Very fine as factory reworked by Mauser, retaining 95% plus blue and straw finishes with some fading on the straw finished control surfaces and an attractive plum coloration to the side plate and slide. The box is very good with split seams.

Desirable Mauser Parabellum Sport Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol in Scarce .30 Luger with Case - Serial no. 10.005044, 30
Luger Auto cal., 4 1/2 inch slab side bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut grips.
Based off the Parabellum Luger pistols initially developed for Interarms, the
Mauser Parabellum Sport was designed for the European market as a competition
target version of the classic Luger
design. Only 153 of these Sport
models were made, of which 63
were chambered in .30 Luger Auto,
making them exceedingly rare
among Luger collectors. It features
a ramped blade front sight on top of the heavy slab sided bull barrel, marked “.30 Luger”
and “eagle/nitro” proofed, with a fully adjustable notched target rear sight mounted to the rear toggle, an internally adjustable match trigger, and lacks the grip safety of the standard Parabellum 29/70 and 06/73 models. The front toggle link is marked “Original/Mauser banner” and “eagle/nitro” proofed. Extension marked with “eagle/nitro” and “75” dated Ulm antler proofs on the left. Frame marked “Made In Germany” at the rear and with the serial number on the right side. Extractor marked “GELADEN” and safety marked “GESICHERT.” The front strap is marked “MAUSER-WERKE A.G. Oberndorf a. N.” Fitted with a set of checkered walnut grips. Includes a canvas and leather display case, key, extra magazine, walnut display stand, an issue of “Automatic Magazine,” and the collector’s notes.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and straw finishes, with light handling wear, a few small areas of spotting, and crisp grip checkering. The case is excellent with light handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.
