 CONDITION: Fine with crisp patterns and designs throughout, 75% of the
older blue finish along the barrel remaining, mix of gilding and bright brass on the furniture, faint cracks in the side plate, silver-gray patina on the lock, and generally minor overall wear. Aside from the forend which is spliced from the entry pipe forward, a few cracks, and repairs, the stock is fine and has distinct carving and generally mild overall wear. Mechanically fine. Overall, this is a very attractive flintlock sporting rifle with a uncommon form of barrel.
