CONDITION: Excellent plus, near new retaining 99% original blue finish with
loss contained to the buttplate in the form of some high edge wear and small patch of pitting. The wood is also excellent plus with the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. This Winchester Model 1892 musket is a highly sought after rarity in lever action collecting and its nearly impossible to improve condition sets it into a league of its own. These muskets have proven elusive, and it will be a long time before we catalog another example in high condition. A must have for the serious Winchester collector.
