CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 75% original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. The takedown collar is mostly a smooth brown patina. 50% original nitre blue remains on the loading gate. The hammer and lever retain 70% original case colors. The wood is excellent with some minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. A rare, highly attractive factory documented .50 Express deluxe Winchester Model 1886 takedown rifle that is worthy of the finest collection. Provenance: The Tom Selleck Collection.
